ENCOURAGE DIAPER WETTING!

I have a generally anxious husband that benefits greatly from adult baby play. I was squeamish at first about diaper wetting (still not into messy diapers). A mentor recommended to me encouraging my baby boy to wet diapers. Why? It helps with age regression. Heres a few reasons why...

When I put him in diapers I have him drink from a bottle. The suckling brings back deeply seated emotion and infantile instinct that calms his mind. When he relaxes enough to wet himself he is at his most relaxed and calm state fully trusting mommy will be there to take care of him. To overcome his adult reluctance to wet when he begins to squirm I give him a mantra that helps him relax and wet. "You are my baby and babies use their dip dips". It tells his anxious mind it's ok to let go and slip into a calmer and safe age space. IT WORKS WONDERS FOR US.

He becomes calm, relaxed and even more prepared for adult stresses when playtime is over. I cannot recommend this enough.

If handling wet diapers bothers you I recommend using disposable latex gloves and baby wipes. Baby powder also makes for a pleasant smell. This may be difficult for some at first, but I can assure you the benefits are well worth it.

Talk to your husband and give it a try. If he is into the ABDL lifestyle already I promise he has considered this.

Make sure your little one WANTS to be in little space, don’t make them feel like they’re being forced into little space!!!

Not sure if this applies to everyone- but my little one finds it comforting and finds it easy to slip when I call myself “mommy/daddy”

Cradling you’re little one is a good one! I like to sit criss cross apple sauce and put my munchkin in my lap and put their head on my chest and secure them in my arms 🥰 adding some rocking and playing with their hair is a bonus! And some good forehead kisses

Similar to cradling, you can cuddle your little and have them suck on their paci or your finger! Give them their favorite stuffie to hold!

Giving them their favorite snacks and drinks in little dishes. 🍼 Their little space bowls and sippies- it’ll help if you’re the one feeding them! “Let daddy help you!” Don’t forget to wipe their face when they’re all done! We don’t want a messy baby

Call them by their little names! My baby’s little name is “bubbles”- or you can use other names like “little one” “munchkin” “sweetie” “pumpkin” “baby boy/girl” “princess/prince” etc.

Doing things for them that they’d normally do on their own out of little space- such as opening things or reaching high places, brushing their teeth or hair. Saying that you’ll help because they’re “too little”

Asking them questions you’d ask a child. “What color is this, baby?” “How many pokadots are on this tissue box?” “What sound does a cat make?”

Let them hold your hand, more so, your finger. Holding one or two of your fingers instead of your whole hand makes them feel like your hand is much bigger than theirs!

Talk to your little in a baby voice! It’ll make your baby feel more comfortable being little around you!
