Masterlist <- Previous Chapter
The girl begins to pace around her room, glancing at the alarm clock sitting on her nightstand. It has been only a few hours since Michael left the house and worries if David or the Lost Boys caught up with him. “Michael, where are you?” she asked herself, trying to calm down by looking around the posters on her walls. Not even her favorite Michael Jackson poster was able to ease the nerves. With Amelia’s back facing the window, she didn’t notice a familiar presence standing close behind her. The scent of weed and death filled the air as a voice whispered, “Knock knock, sweetheart~”
Amelia gasped, grabbing the large shard of glass from the trash, pointing it directly at the platinum blonde. David blinked innocently, “No kiss hello? I’m wounded” “Don’t come anywhere near me, David” Amelia hissed, “You know what you did to me and Michael, yet you don’t feel sorry for it?!” “Not at all” David roamed around the bedroom like he owned the place, looking and observing the trinkets and picking up a book on the ground. The golden font shone in the moonlight as he opened a random page in The Phantom of the Opera. In the book, there was an illustration of the Phantom seducing Christine to be part of his Music of The Night.
“You’re here to kill me aren’t you?” asked Amelia “Why would I want to kill my mate?” asked David, “I only came here to see how you were doing. And judging by the state you’re in, I assume the thought of becoming one of us frightens you” Amelia remained silent, pointing the shard at the platinum blonde moving around the bedroom. “I understand your fear, Amelia. I was like you 90 years ago, but look at me now. I’ve learned to embrace it, and so will you in time. I had a good reason for turning you though”
David stops at the nightstand, opening the drawer to pull out an orange medication bottle, tossing it in the air a few times. Seeing the pills were enough for Amelia to know the answer why David turned her in the first place, lowering her weapon slowly in the process. “You finally understand, don’t you sweetheart?” asked David, “I did this out of the kindness of my cold dead heart.” Amelia laughed coldly, “You think all this was enough to make me happy? You wanted me to come up to you saying ‘Oh David, you’ve saved my life! How could I ever repay you’ like you’re some fucking hero out of a comic book?!”
David kept his composure as Amelia let out her anger, his smile remained unfazed. The girl marched up to the platinum blonde and grabbed him by the throat, “You’re a sick bastard, you know that?!” David grasped Amelia’s wrist, slowly raising it up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss on her bleeding palm. She knew what he was trying to do, glaring at the platinum blonde as his tongue lingered against the cut, savoring the sweet taste of blood. Those very eyes she saw the night before came back to haunt her. The very eyes that showed just a spark of humanity in those icy blue hues. No, Amelia wasn’t going to lose herself to him, not again. David saw this and pulled himself away from the girl’s hand, “There’s no need to resist, sweetheart. I know all your deepest, darkest desires. So go ahead and lose yourself to me”
Amelia shook her head in response, slowly stepping back as David stepped forward. Her back meets her dresser, knocking a few trinkets from the slight bump. “Come on, Mia~” David cooed, “You can’t be like this forever and you know it” “No,” said Amelia, trying to sound serious but her voice broke. The girl turned her face away, only for the platinum blonde to cup her chin and turn her face to look at him. The longer she looked at David, the harder it became to resist his power. Her tense body slowly starts to relax as the platinum blonde slowly pressed himself against her. The gap between slowly closing as David leans in for a kiss. Their lips brushed against each other, as if testing the waters of one another.
Neither of them knew who made the first move, but it didn’t matter at this point. The sounds of muffled moans echoed in the bedroom, trinkets falling off the dresser as David picked up Amelia with ease. His fingerless gloved hands grasped firmly on Amelia’s waist as they kissed, slowly moving his lips down the girl’s chin. Amelia was in bliss, grasping David’s broad shoulder in one hand, the other holding his platinum blonde locks. David chuckled as he felt the tight grip on his head, smelling the sweet scent against Amelia’s neck before taking a bite. Amelia gasped at the sudden sharpness of his fangs in her neck, which quickly turned to a moan of pleasure. Oh how sweet her blood tasted, he wished he could suck her dry. A part of David wanted to, but he didn’t want to harm the girl any further.
The platinum blonde pulls away, blood dripping down his chin as he watches the bite mark vanish. His icy eyes looked up at a flustered Amelia, breathing heavily and hungry for more. This only made David chuckle deeply, removing his leather jacket to reveal his sculpted pale skin to the girl, “Have a taste, sweetheart. I promise you it won’t count as a kill” A part of Amelia wanted to resist, but the smell of blood only drove her crazy. It happened fast, David being pinned onto the bed across the room with Amelia on top. The platinum blonde chuckled, “You’re quite strong for someone with a weak heart. Guess it means you were born to be one of- Agh!” David hissed as soon as Amelia’s sharp fangs dug into his neck. It was a bit painful since it’s been a while. That pain quickly turned to pleasure as he held the girl close.
For a moment, David could hear the sound of sobbing. It was soft but noticeable for his vampire ears to hear. He too remembered the first time he drank someone’s blood. A poor innocent bystander that was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He remembered how scared he was after killing someone, tears streaming down his face while covered in blood. David runs his fingers through Amelia’s dark curls to comfort her as she drinks, “I know you’re scared of killing, sweetheart. But I promise you that you won’t be afraid anymore. I can protect you and Michael, even the rest of your family” Amelia pulls away, her soft pink lips stained red and fangs on full display. The platinum blonde wipes the blood of the girl’s lips with his thumb, “I’ll give you time to think about it. There’s no use forcing you, Amelia. But the next time we meet, I hope to get an answer”
Before Amelia could say anything, David placed her into a deep sleep, letting her collapse onto the bed. He sits up and brushed a strand of the girl’s curl away from her sweet face, “Sleep well, Amelia” The platinum blonde gets up and grabs his leather jacket, glancing over his shoulder before vanishing into the night. Meanwhile, Michael rides his motorbike across town to the Boardwalk. The moment he arrived, there she was sitting alone looking at the night sky. This time however, Star’s eyes looked worried, even terrified. She looked down to see a rather angry Michael marching his way toward her. “So, this was your plan all along?” asked Michael, “To make me and Amelia like them? Like you?” “We aren’t like them, Michael” said Star “How could you do this to me? To my sister?” There was hurt in Michael’s voice, one of betrayal and fear. Star was starting to get angry, “I never wanted any of this to happen! Especially not to you or Mia”
Michael rolled his eyes as Star climbed down the ladder of the billboard, “Oh cause you like me so much?” “I tried to warn you, I begged you not to go in there” “You told me to drink!” Star couldn’t believe how naïve Michael was. How a sweet guy like him falls for David’s tricks to become a vampire. But what truly broke her heart was the real plan David has in store. Michael admits he had much worse hits than anyone can imagine, wishing he did fight David and his brothers that night. “This is a war you can’t win, Michael” said Star, “David will find you, his blood is in your veins” Michael went silent for a moment, “What am I now?” “You and Mia are like me, a half. Not alive or dead, trapped somewhere in between” “Until we make our first kill”
The night at the bonfire played in the back of Michael’s mind. The very image of Amelia in her monstrous vampire form ready to devour her first kill until she held herself back. The fear in her eyes as she fights her humanity and monstrous form like a soldier fighting a battle they cannot win. Then he remembered David’s words ‘She’s my mate, Michael. I was only after her until you showed up.’ The older Emerson glanced at Star, “But is it true? Amelia is David’s mate?” Star nods silently, afraid to speak of the matter. That one gesture only made Michael even more pissed off, not at Star or David but himself. But then another thought came to him, the events of the night he met Star at the boardwalk, the ear piercing at the pier, “The other night” Star felt tears streaming down her face, “You were supposed to be my first. It’s what David wanted” “So why didn’t you?” “I couldn’t… But only a matter of time, it’s getting harder and harder for me to resist”
Michael started to feel sorry for Star, seeing Amelia was right about trusting her. Deep down, he could see the girl in front of him was just as broken as he and his sister are. Star wipes the tears off her face, “I’m sorry, Michael. I wish we’d never met” “Don’t say that,” said Michael, pulling Star into his strong arms for a tight embrace. This action surprised the mystery girl, but somehow it felt so comforting much like the last time they embraced. “You’re a bolt of lightning, Star. I had to know you the night we met” Star laughed softly through her tears, “Honestly, making me feel was frightening when I met you” “My god, you were burning so bright on that stage”
This made Star realize that Michael could see something within her, the dreamer she used to be so long ago. For so long the two felt like the only way to live was to survive. The moment they both met, they felt alive. Maybe Michael and Star could disappear into the atmosphere together, forget about everything that’s ever happened and live a life of happiness. Just so long as they stay by each other’s side, being each other’s light through the darkness. Then somehow, it was as if their hearts connected the moment they shared a passionate kiss. The sparks between them grew brighter as they held each other close and stayed together, wishing the night would last forever.
Back at the Emerson cabin, Amelia wakes up to find her room empty. The events between her and David appeared in the back of her mind, blushing and blaming herself for what happened. Just as she changed into proper clothes and cleaned up the mess, there was a knock at her door. “Michael, is that you?” She asked, opening the door to see a very distressed Sam standing right in front of her, “Sammy?” “I screwed up,” he said, entering the room with guilt in his eyes. “Why? What happened?” The younger Emerson explained what happened at dinner, thinking Max was the head vampire turned into a complete disaster.
The middle Emerson listened, watching her little brother sit on her bed, burying his face into his hands. This scene broke her heart and slowly joined her little brother, hugging him for comfort. “I told mom to read the comic Edgar and Alan showed me to prove I wasn’t lying,” he said with a broken voice, “I’m just so worried about you and Mike. I just…” The boy started to break, sobbing into his sister’s shoulder. Amelia didn’t say anything, allowing her little brother to let his emotions out and comfort him as best as could. Once Sam calmed down, Amelia cups her brother’s tear stained face to speak, “Listen to me, Sammy. I know what I am now and so does Michael. We both appreciate what you’re doing to protect us, we really do. But this can be very dangerous so I need you to do the best you can. Most importantly, keep yourself safe, we don’t want to hurt you or mom. Do this for us, Sam… please”
Sam could only nod, feeling a bit better knowing his siblings would be alright. But deep down, he couldn’t help but wonder what would happen to Amelia once all this was over. The middle Emerson smiled sadly, “And for what it's worth, you’re not soft. You’re probably the bravest kid I’ve ever met. Heck, you’re braver than me and Mike at this point” Sam saw what his sister was trying to do, smiling softly as he wiped his tears. “But now that you know what Mike and I have become, I think it’s time you know the truth about Dad. About who he really was-” “No,” said Sam, “I’d rather not. It’s probably best I didn’t know the kind of person Dad really was” Amelia nods, agreeing that it was probably best not to tell her little brother. “But you guys didn’t kill anyone right?” The girl shook her head “Good, which means you and Mike are still half vampires. So there’s still time and I think I have a plan”

*before my heart with you*
David: FUCKING DAMN IT DWAYNE! That was Paul’s note!
Marko: Tell me again why we have to sing five part harmonies at Michael?
David: Cause it’s cool as hell. Let’s run it again.
WHEN THE FUCK DID THIS GET 100 LIKES?!?
Like a Sinner Before The Gates of Heaven
Part 1
Synopsis: After the showdown at the Emerson house, Max is left dead by Lucy's hand, and Marko by Sammie's, but everyone else is still alive. Or as close as they can be to it. In the aftermath of the events of the story, Michael tries to pick up the pieces with David, and David learns that he doesn't have to be alone.
Pairings: Michael/David, eventual Michael/David/Star
Characters: Michael Emerson, David, Star, Paul, Dwayne, Marko (mentioned), Sammie Emerson, Lucy Emerson
Notes: Alright y'all here's part 1! I'm thinking this story will be on the shorter end of fics I've written, but please enjoy my semi fix-it AU. I fucking love these guys. Also, I know the picture is from the movie, which I absolutely love, but this fic will be set around the events of the musical, and I'm envisioning those versions of the characters. Enjoy!

Part 1: All I've Got is Time
The cliffs towered over him as he stopped his bike at the bottom of the path, staring upwards and taking a moment to catch his breath. The sky was clear tonight, the moon cutting a brilliant slice of white across the churning water of the bay. There was no noise from the cave. There was no noise at all, save for the water and his own heartbeat thrumming in his ears.
He watched his step carefully as he started the steep descent to the mouth of the cave below, trying to avoid the places that were covered in algae and water. His sneakers squeaked as he slowly made his way, and he prayed that nobody would hear, even though he likely wasn’t that lucky. It had only been an hour or so since his miraculous transformation, and he remembered in excruciating detail what it was like to hear everything, down to the wing beats of the bugs tapping against his window and Sammie’s heartbeat fading in his neck as Max pinned him in place with a magic he didn’t understand and now would never possess. He was grateful that at least that part of things was over.
As he reached the entrance, he strained to listen. He wanted some sign that David was asleep, some sign that he might be able to check on his wellbeing without being the target of his supernatural rage. Star had begged to come with him, explained over and over that David was more powerful than he knew, even now, but he had insisted, and taken off on his bike before there could be any more argument. Stripped of her vampiric powers, she hadn’t been able to follow. His chest twinged with guilt as he remembered her and Sammie calling after him, but he had to know. There was no point in pretending David wouldn’t be back, wouldn’t haunt him for the rest of his mortal life if he didn’t do something, didn’t try to make things right. Nobody was safe until he tried his best to repair this, anyway he could. Even if it meant trying to talk down someone he’d tried to kill hours before.
He didn’t dare to even breathe as he crossed the threshold and moved down the steps, squinting to see into the gloom with his newly worsened eyes. His hands were slick with blood and his face was stained with soot from the explosion of Max across his kitchen, and he tried to ignore the way the hairs on the back of his neck were standing up, the way they always did when David or any of the boys were nearby. He stopped short as a voice came out of the darkness, startling him into taking a step back. David could see him in the darkness, he knew. He felt like a prey animal for a moment, and then remembered all he had seen, all he had managed to accomplish in the last few days in the fight against the darkness, and forced himself to stand up straighter.
“Go home, Michael Emerson.” The voice echoed off of the rocks around them. It was quieter than usual, with less of the confident timbre Michael had grown used to. He sounded tired, defeated. He sounded like a shell of the person who had held Michael’s life in his hands not so long ago.
“I can’t do that.” He tried to sound braver than he felt. “Not until we talk.”
There was a deafening silence. The sound of the waves was far away, and Michael wished more than anything he still possessed his supernatural sight. He wished he’d thought to bring anything to protect himself. This had seemed like the only way to fix things when he’d run off, but now he wondered if it would do more harm than good. He had no more time to consider it as there was suddenly a thunderous sound of igniting flames and a weight slammed against his chest, sending him flying backwards into the sharp stone stairs with a cry. The torches scattered around the cave had blazed to life, and the fire was reflected in David’s eyes as he stood above him, fangs drawn and hands clenched into fists.
“I should rip your throat out right here.” he snarled. Michael moved to stand up, then let out a grunt as David brought his boot down on the middle of his chest, just hard enough to make a point. Michael knew that if he’d wanted, he could’ve driven it straight through his ribs and into his heart, could have watched him bleed out on the steps. He still might.
“I just want to talk to you.” he groaned, thrashing to get free and getting nowhere. “Please, David.”
“Or what?” David leaned down closer, baring his teeth. “Max is dead, you got what you wanted, right? Your pathetic mortal life? You picked a real shit time to try and fight me.”
“I’m not trying to fight you!” Michael spat back, anger getting the better of him. “I came here to explain, okay, stop being an asshole and listen to me!”
“I should kill you.” David said again, quieter this time. The flames had dimmed slightly. “I should stop time and kill you slowly, gut you like those kids gutted Marko. Watch the light leave your eyes, make you beg me to spare you.”
“You could.” Michael gasped, his chest protesting painfully as the treads of David’s boot dug in deeper. “You could do all of that, but you haven’t. So part of you wants to know what I have to say.”
“You don’t know that.” David’s face was still stone, but he leaned back slightly, setting his mouth in a tight line before moving away altogether. Michael rose slowly to his feet, a placating hand held out as he got his footing.
Now that the fight was over, for the moment anyway, he felt unmoored, unaware of how to proceed. David was normally the one who did all the talking, the one who controlled, the one who moved mountains and time to get whatever he wanted. His brothers, Star, eternal life. Michael, once. Now he just stood silently, staring like he wanted to crush Michael’s heart to pieces with his gaze alone. He couldn’t fully blame him. He took a deep breath, voice hoarse from shouting.
“I’m sorry about Marko.” He said softly, carefully. “That wasn’t… that wasn’t supposed to happen.”
“You watched.” David’s voice was like flint. “Marko took you in, we all did, called you his brother, and when I woke up you were staring while your brother and his friends stabbed him to death like a bunch of fucking cowards.”
“They were scared.” Michael willed himself not to move when David made a noise of disagreement, a growl rumbling deep in his chest.
“They don’t understand what this is, they don’t… Sammie was scared he was going to lose me. I’m one of the only people he has.”
“Then you know what it feels like.” David replied. “To love someone. To want to protect them.”
“You know I do.” Michael matched his stare, refusing to back down. It was almost as if he could feel his ribs throbbing beneath his skin, paining him despite their miraculous healing.
“So why did you come here?” David asked, laughing bitterly. “To apologize? To try and make things right? I mean Jesus, Michael, what the fuck do you think you’ll get out of this?”
“Max is dead, we can fix this.” Michael insisted. “You don’t have to be alone, you don’t have to hide, you can still be protected without him and we can help you-”
“Don’t you dare.” David cut him off, voice like thunder rolling over far away hills, a promise of violence. “Don’t you dare act like I need your help, because I don’t, none of us do. I don’t want your apologies. And if you want me to absolve you, you can fuck off, because it’ll never happen. I will live forever, and far beyond that, and I will never forgive you.”
“I don’t want your forgiveness.” Michael replied, voice slow and even. “But I know what it’s like to have your family destroyed, okay? We had to kill Max, but that’s not anyone’s fault but his. You don’t deserve to pick up the pieces alone.”
“I don’t give a shit about Max.” David curled his lip in disgust. “I hope he’s nice and warm in Hell.”
“You told me that we weren’t that different, once.” Michael reminded him, changing tactics. “That we both had shitty fathers that didn’t deserve us. I can’t fix what happened to Marko, I know that, but I can help you now that he’s gone. I’m not going anywhere, neither is Star.”
“Oh, Star.” David let out a long sigh, smiling like poison. “I bet you’re pretty proud of yourself, huh? Rescuing an innocent girl from a monster, whisking her away so you can play house?”
“She didn’t want to be a vampire.” Michael’s chest hurt, and not from the fight. “You have to know that.”
“I offered her a way to be safe.” David’s voice had become even smaller, fragile against the wide expanse of jagged rocks and fire around them.
“I offered her a home, a family, and at the first sign of someone new she betrayed me.” he sneered, stepping back, closing himself off even further. “She tried to stake me in the heart, Michael. You helped her.”
“I know.” Michael tried to close the distance between them by a few inches, and David stiffened but didn’t move. “We thought it was the only way to save ourselves. We were wrong, okay? We had no way of knowing.”
“And what, now that you didn’t kill me, I’m supposed to thank you? To forgive you?”
“No, of course not.” Micahel took a deep breath. “You don’t have to do anything David, but Star cares about you. I care about you. And Dwayne, and Paul, I just… what happens now without a head vampire?”
“I don’t know.” David answered, looking as though he wished he had any kind of different answer. His shoulders were hunched, and Michael finally noticed in the dim light that he was still covered in splashes of blood, from him or Marko he didn’t know. He looked young, tired, not scared because he never would be, but something close. David reached out a hand, slowly, like David was a scared animal.
“Then let’s figure it out.”
The very funniest difference between Michael in the movie versus the musical is that musical!Michael has clearly never done weed before meeting the boys and movie!Michael absolutely has.

young sherlock x experienced reader bro i need that
Hoping the girlies that have seen Young Sherlock can write some Sherlock x female reader smut and/or Sherlock x James x female reader smut 😊
Unbelievable
Summary: James Moriarty x fe!Reader -> The four times you and James kissed, and the one time you finally talked about it.
Disclaimer: fluff, undercover couple, undercover kiss, dislike to lovers, platonic!sherlock, four times this-one time that, little yearning, little pining, one bed trope, historical inaccuracies, lots of italics for the past, swearing, mention of minor injuries, dramatic but happy ending.
(gif is not mine)
James Moriarty had held the same opinion of you since the first day he met you; you were a pain in his arse.
You just seemed…to get in the way.
In his defence, you’d first met on a case that Sherlock had asked for his help with. You’d tackled him to the floor, blocking his fighting body until you had him pinned.
“Stop! Stop fighting me! We’re on the same side!”
“Who the fuck are you?”
Between the flying bullets and smell of sugar, you didn’t have time to explain. But when Sherlock finally caught up to both of you, he did.
“Ah,” Sherlock smiled. “I see you two have met.”
“Who is she, Sherlock?”
Feel like this is a momentous occasion
Been here since there were 3💔
