β’ He doesnβt sleep well that night because of the burn, and you canβt help but smile at it because if he had just listened, he wouldnβt be in that predicament.
β’ He likes to avoid the boardwalk and snack shops so he doesnβt have to deal with anyone, but if you want ice cream from the shop heβs practically running to get you some.
β’ Tig isnβt a big fan of the beach because he hates the sand. He hates how hot it is and how it gets stuck between his toes. But as soon as you mentioned wanting to go he no longer cared about the pesky sand.
β’ He is a fan of swimming, though, so he loves to go into the water with you.
β’ You guys love to mess with each other all day. If youβre in the water, youβre splashing each other and having water fights. If you're on land, youβre tossing or kicking sand at each other.
β’ You like to collect seashells and give some to him. He will carry them in his pocket.
β’ He literally cannot take his eyes off you. Mostly because of your swimsuit, but he also refuses to let you out of his sight.
β’ He cannot keep his hands to himself either. Heβs constantly sneaking grabs. Heβs such a fan of pda, itβs almost annoying.
β’ You tell him to stop, but he holds his hands up in defense and says, βBaby, it's not my fault you look so sexy.β
β’ He doesnβt tan, finding it rather stupid, but will sit with you while you do, talking to you and keeping you company.
β’ While he forgets to put sunscreen on, you do not and apply it heavily.
β’ He laughs at you because you canβt reach your back.
β’ You scoff, βThis is so not funny.β

β’ You guys like to get there super early, so you can watch the sunrise while eating breakfast. You take turns on who makes breakfast; you go then he goes. However, oftentimes, heβll let you sleep in and make breakfast when itβs not his turn.
β’ He thinks everything is too expensive there, so he packs everything you guys would need (though if you ask for something he wouldnβt hesitate to buy it). You pack it all in a picnic basket.
β’ You also like to pack a blanket and a beach umbrella because you guys donβt like to be hot and feel yourself burn.
β’ One of his favorite things to pack is a cocktail shaker, full of your favorite mixed drink, so you guys can have drinks.
β’ You two also like to have dinner picnics and the occasional lunch.
β’ He takes care of you. Heβs constantly making sure youβre wearing sunscreen, youβre hydrated, etc. He wants you to have a great time, but not be uncomfortable.
β’ Heβs not a fan of swimming in the ocean and much prefers a pool because the waves are too much for him to jump over. He likes to stay in the shallow water so he can relax. He says heβs too old, but you disagree. So you guys donβt swim much.
β’ Your days at the beach vary. Some days youβll be alone and others youβll bring the kids, depending on how you and Opie feel.
β’ If Kenny and Ellie are there you guys will build sandcastles with them and have a competition to see who can make the best one. Opie somehow always wins; heβs exceptionally good at making them look perfect.
β’ You also try to teach them how to swim, because itβs a great skill, and they both hate staying in the shallow end and wearing lifejackets/floaties. Opie taught you as heβs a really great swimmer, so in return, you teach his kids. Ellie gets the hang of it quick but Kenny struggles.
β’ You always spend a majority of the day in the water.
β’ You also pack sandwiches and chips for lunch, something none of you guys ever get tired of.
β’ And you absolutely donβt let them go a second without having sunscreen on. Opie included, and he finds it slightly annoying because you always say βDon't forget sunscreen,β or βSunscreen time.β
β’ He listens every time, though. You help him apply some to his back. Either actually applying it or holding up his long, luscious locks of hair for him.
β’ He never stops saying thank you all day, for everything you do. For packing lunch, playing with the kids, helping him, etc., heβs grateful for everything.
β’ However, if you guys go alone Opie ensures itβs a day full of relaxation for you both.
β’ He sets up your chairs or towels, applies sunscreen for you, buys food and drinks; he takes care of you, and you try to do the same for him.
β’ You guys donβt talk very much, allowing silence to surround you, as you both need the peace and relaxation, but it doesnβt always last long.
β’ The fact that you two are alone, soaking up the sun and basking in the comfort provided by the other, promotes him to open up. He shares how heβs feeling about everything, whatβs going on in the club, his wishes for the future; everything.
β’ Regardless if the kids are there or not you love to take pictures. Youβre constantly taking pictures of every little thing so you guys can relive the memory forever. In fact, you have so many pictures youβve almost filled an entire photo album.
β’ Sometimes you guys like to do cheesy couple things and matching bathing suits is one of them. You guys will be completely matching in singular color suits, or he will match the color of his to a color on yours. Say youβre wearing a cheetah print suit, heβll have black on. You guys will be matching one way or another.
β’ Heβs a huge fan of tanning and loves to tan. He loves to have tanned abs, and you canβt stop looking at him, practically drooling over the sight.
β’ However, that's about the only time you guys lay down and do nothing. You both love to be active at the beach.
β’ Your favorite activities are swimming, tossing a frisbee, and playing volleyball. Heβs exceptionally good at both frisbee and volleyball. You guys are competitive, and like to see who can get the most catches or hit the ball without missing and letting it drop. But Kozik is so good itβs rare you actually win; on rare occasions you do, though.
β’ One time he felt so bad he let you win, but heβd never admit it.
β’ And if you stay all day, you guys like to walk along the shore, admiring the sunset as you talk and enjoy an ice cream cone.
β’ You guys always get ice cream when you go; itβs tradition.
β’ Going to the beach with Juice is nothing short of fun and is always a day packed full of adventure and fun activities.
β’ He likes to wake up early and eat so you guys can get to the beach as soon as possible. Heβs up hours before you and practically has to drag you out of bed each time. However, he makes breakfast as a peace offering, so you canβt be too mad at him.
β’ He plans everything, every small detail, as you guys drive. βFirst, weβll build sandcastles, then we swimβ¦ ooh, maybe you can finally bury me in the sand! Then we should get a snack.β
β’ You just nod along, knowing his plan wonβt be followed at all and you two will do whatever you feel like at that moment.
β’ As for the snack, you two flip flop on what you like to do. Some days you like to pack your own and others you like to explore the vendors and shops around the shore.
β’ You guys love building sandcastles. Youβll bring a shovel and numerous different castle molds so you can have variety. His are always packed too lightly and fall apart as he dumps them over but yours are compacted tightly and fall out of the bucket flawlessly, holding its shape. You two make so many that you have a small village of castles.
β’ Juice loves to collect seashells and you guys always leave with a bucket or two filled with them. He has a collection at home; a clear tub full of his favorites and he also leaves them scattered around the house as decoration. Thereβs some on the kitchen counters, the table, your dressers, the bathroom, etc.
β’ He is also weirdly knowledgeable on them and always knows the exact type of shell he finds. He wonβt hesitate to explain to you how he knows, and heβll even give you tips on how to identify them.
β’ He has a lifelong dream to be buried in the sand, so only his head sticks out. You attempt to help him achieve his dream.
β’ He despises seaweed, the color, the texture, the slime and the stench; he hates everything about it. Naturally, you have to mess with him about it. If you find a piece, you bring it to him and he gags before taking it and throwing it far across the beach. Other times you wonβt show him and will just toss it at him. He shrieks in disgust each time.
β’ You, on the other hand, like to swim and search for crabs. He joins you for both. And when you find a crab, you get to explain to him the type and how to identify it.
