hello!!! SO, my top surgery is scheduled for May 10th! it was originally a MUCH closer date but i asked for them to push the date back so that i would have more time to prepare because uh…

$43 is Not Enough! i am Very broke! the surgery itself is covered by the government, but travel costs and things i’ll need for post op recovery are not. i live in vancouver and my top surgeon is located on victoria island, so i’ll have to pay for ferry ticket alongside an airbnb to stay at for a few days, and money for transportation to and from the hospital and the airbnb. 

so i’m resorting to e-begging again so i can finally get top surgery done and over with..! my current goal is $650, the main costs being the airbnb and cab fare (im disabled and immunocompromised and shouldn’t be taking transit right now, but i will if i have to) i’ll be saving up money on my own too, although i only get $350 a month after all my bills are paid so i can’t save up a lot.

-I have making starter beading kits for FREE for all Native people who don’t have the opportunity to learn to bead another way. You do not have to be enrolled, you do not need to look a certain way, you are not required to be anything but a native, and at LEAST be reconnecting. 

-This program requires ALLIES. You want to help supply beading supplies to native people, since this artistic ability is very important to native people, particularly those displaced by colonization? Yeah? Thought so! The cost for each box, plus the shipping, comes out to about $30. Every $30 donated means another person gets a box.
