My name is Mohammed. I am 16 years old, and I am from Gaza.
Before the war, my family lived a simple life in Al-Tuffah neighborhood. Everything changed when our home was completely destroyed, and our area became part of the yellow zone. We lost our home and everything we owned. On top of that, two of my siblings were killed during the war, and the pain of losing them stays with us every day.
My father is disabled and cannot work. We have no source of income. Although I am only 16 years old, I try to take care of my family as much as I can. Every day, I carry and fill water containers to bring water to our tent so my family can meet one of the most basic needs of survival.
I should be in school, studying and dreaming about my future. Instead, the war stole my childhood and my education. Instead of carrying a school bag, I carry heavy water containers and worry about how my family will find food and water for another day. Even so, I still dream of returning to school and building a better future for myself and my family.
Today, I am asking for your kindness and support. Any donation, no matter how small, will help my family survive. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing my campaign. Your support can help my story reach someone who is able to make a difference.
