we seriously need halle bailey and jonah hauer-king in more movies together... their chemistry is off the damn charts. even rob marshall said he had no choice in who would play prince eric (even though it was the right choice regardless) because as soon as halle screen tested with jonah they clicked instantly and the chemistry was crazy.
we need them in rom-coms or literally anything. i will take anything at this point. they can be "work wife and husband."

in the live action the little mermaid, we really got halle bailey, the most ethereal beauty, the most kind, and the most angelic vocalist (+ amazing actress) as ariel. we really got jonah hauer-king, one of the finest men i have ever seen, extremely humble, the biggest green flag of a man, and just talented overall, as prince eric. they have the most chemistry between two leads that i have seen in a hot minute, on and off camera (excluding tomdaya obviously). (i also love how much jonah and halle laugh when they're around each other in real life). and the live action was just an amazing movie overall? i don't know what we did in our past lives to deserve this, but truthfully, we won!
