St. James Church of England Secondary School by Modulek LTD Via Flickr: Due to the current school block dilapidating structurally, the scheme comprised of the provision of a detached two storey building providing additional classroom spaces, group rooms, storage, WC facilities, plant room, together with all associated mechanical and electrical installations and external ground works. The new two storey modular building is replacing the existing three storey traditional build known as B Block, which is to be demolished. The new building is a truly state-of-the-art bespoke building, that was delivered within budget and on time and is a building that will last for many generations.

Alderbrook School by Modulek LTD Via Flickr: Alderbrook School in Solihull required a new SEN satellite building, to further students with Special Educational Needs in their education, and to help students achieve their full potential with purpose built facilities.

Fair Furlong Primary School by Modulek LTD Via Flickr: Modulek supplied a state of the art ECO Classroom to provide an outdoor activity space for the school, where students can enjoy a different learning environment, with bi fold opening doors and external decking area providing a real breath of fresh air to the school campus facilities! Features such as the solar panels on the roof ensure that the building is self sufficient for much of its energy usage, with air to air source heat pumps providing the heating, and sustainable timber construction reducing its carbon footprint, to protect the environment

Henleaze Junior School by Modulek LTD Via Flickr: Modulek designed and delivered a double classroom building complete with extensive external works all within a very short time span. A replacement retaining wall formed part of the works, demonstrating Modulek’s flexibility to deliver all elements of the project. Henleaze School now has a building that has set them on their way to meeting their dreams and aspirations, giving students a better learning environment.

The Marchant Holliday School by Modulek LTD Via Flickr: Modulek were commissioned to install a 2 bay modular building at The Marchant Holliday School, a school which caters for young boys who have learning and behaviour difficulties. The new building had tricky access routes, so Modulek rose to the challenge once again and managed to manoeuvre down the narrow country lanes! The new classroom facility has toilet facilities, and a state-of-the-art bespoke teaching area to facilitate student requirements and to create an inspiring space for students. The building has been designed with an attractive, sustainable cedar timber cladding. The groundworks included providing a disabled access as well as significant vegetation clearing that was required. It is with no doubt that this is a building that will continue to serve many generations of students, for years to come!

Wolves F.C. Training Pavillion by Modulek LTD Via Flickr: Having clinched promotion to the Premier League, the club needed to extend their existing training ground facility to accommodate the increased staffing levels required, and improving their facilities to meet current Premier League standards. With Modulek’s experience in fast track construction for other Premier League teams – it was the obvious answer for a tried and tested system, that could be delivered in just a matter of weeks, with the peace of mind knowing that it would be fit for purpose enabling the club to transition to the Premier League and move forward successfully. The Modulek design was tailor made to suit the clubs exact requirements, created as an extension to the existing Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground Building, comprising of a two storey extension on one side with extended canteen and office facilities on the first floor, and a new reception, press room and player break out lounge on the ground floor, then on the other side a new single storey gymnasium extension was added to more than double the size of the existing The extensions were designed so the flow through from the existing was seamless – so you wouldn’t know you walking into a modular extension – coupled with an exterior design which blended perfectly with the existing, even matching the existing building brickwork and fascia design exactly so it looked like it had always been there This is a demonstration of just how unique the Modulek system is, being able to deliver a building tailor made to suit the clients exact requirements,

Globeside Cafe - Marlow by Modulek LTD Via Flickr: A modular cafe building was required, on a busy, and growing industrial estate, to improve services to the workers. Modulek provided assistance, right from the initial planning and design stage, through to completion, providing full client support throughout the project. The building truly shows the capabilities of modular construction. With bespoke internal and external finishes and layouts, you would never know that the building was modular! The steel spaceframe comes with a 60 year design life, and incorporates key design features such as Thermowood timber cladding, bespoke kitchen requirements and state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, creating a cafe that will become popular in the heart of the business park!
