Asalamualaikum lovelies!!! so i recently started my Arabic Tajweed lessons Alhumdulilah. Last weeks lesson was quite intense for me, it jus became a lot to remember so i asked my teacher to repeat the lesson and i ive memorised it this week!!! For those of you that are familiar with Tajweed, i was stuck on the rule of the meem saakin (مٌ) but especially the seperate rule for ikhfa e shafawi. It was mych easier this week. Just reminiscing a time when an ill hearted sister deliberately said something to spite me: "i hate indians i can't bloody stand them they make me sick" knowing that i was of indian background and knowing my parents are of those backgrounds. Kind of sickening these are born muslims who forget that their religion teaches them to respect every religion&every culture. Hope you're having a blessed Friday!!! Based on a true story.... THIS!!! Was the first everrrr question I was thrown at by my then "friend" who disowned me after my reversion. I didn't have the correct answer to give back to her until i asked my ustaad how to reply to this- It was beautifully explained to me that We only pray to Allah, we blindly believe in him, his books, his angels and the last day, that's the first pillar of Islam. The ka'bah (house of Allah) is a universal point for every muslim around the globe so no matter where we are in the world our direction of worship will always be the same.(by help of compasses or now our smartphone apps!) We donnot pray TO it.... we pray TOWARDS it. I went back and gave this reply..... There was silence...no further questions #ameen #islam #jummah #revertedsisters
