I used to have this mindset, but love can be magical AND logical. The foundation is true friendship. If I can offer any advice to anyone who feels this way it would be this: Do not settle. You know what you want, and you are deserving of it, so it will come, and it will happen when you least expect it. We are warriors and most men are intimidated by strong, independent, outspoken women. However, I guarantee you there is a person out there who will see you for who you are, love every aspect of you, and do anything they can to be a part of your life, and more importantly, create a better, brighter life with you. Don't ever think your love will forever be unrequited. You keep loving with every bit of your being, and someone WILL come along who appreciates it and reciprocates.

If everything you claimed you deserved was right in front of you, would you really be ready for it? I think alot of the time we ask for things we aren't prepared to handle. That's why most people fumble when they get the chance at something amazing. We ask for consistency but don't have the discipline to reciprocate it. We ask for something real but don't have the faith to believe it's not to good to be true. We ask for trust but we aren't strong enough to be vulnerable and give people opportunities to be trusted. We want the prize without going through the process and that's why we feel cheated with what we get. Are you really ready for what you claim you deserve? It's okay not to be. Better to be honest with yourself and grow than try and rush things and ruin the potential of what could be. Take it slow. Make sure it's right. Appreciate it when it's special.
