to put in simple, this is a place to hoard, share, and talk about trans male anime and manga. or, as i like to call it, trans male or ftm animanga. i’ll post news, recommendations, my own opinions and thoughts, and more.
it’s possible i won’t talk only about them but other works with trans male characters as well no matter what minor role they have, as long as i like it and think it’s worth sharing and checking out. still, ftm animanga will always be my top priority here.
there will be mature works, spoilers, and sensitive content, but i’ll be sure to tag everything accordingly.

what do i consider as ftm animanga?
to make me consider an anime or manga as one, it needs to have:
a trans man character’s transness being the center of the story and what it’s about,
a trans man character’s transness being a major point in the story,
otherwise, i’ll see it just as a work with a trans male character.
in example:
boys run the riot by keito gaku ✔️ it’s literally about the main protagonist’s transness and his struggles,
yuureitou (the ghost tower) by tarou nogizaka ✔️ despite the mystery being the main plot, one of the protagonists being trans deeply affects the narrative and it’s extremely important,
garden in the closet by kei itono ✔️ the other protagonist’s transness is what drives the story along as the main protagonist discovers his attraction to men through him,
our dreams at dusk: shimanami tasogare by yuuki kamatani ❌ even though it’s about lgbt issues as a whole, it mostly centers on the main protagonist’s homosexuality and the trans male character serves a supporting role,
wonder egg priority by shinji nojima ❌ the character has a very minor role and the main story isn’t about nor is it related to being a trans man.
but as i wrote above, that doesn’t mean i won’t talk about works like these too. they simply won’t be my priority.
