This EP is about transience, self-acceptance, and the struggle to embrace the present moment. Each song explores the tension between holding on and letting goāwhether itās the fleeting euphoria of the āpink cloudā phenomenon, the fear of moving forward, or the realization that our past and limitations shape who we become. These songs donāt just sit in nostalgia or regret; they push toward embracing change rather than fearing it.
Musically, the EP moves between folk-rock intimacy and raw, unfiltered energy, gradually building in intensity. It starts with delicate acoustic-driven moments, evolving into distorted catharsis, mirroring the emotional arc of the lyrics. Lush harmonies, understated rhythms, and a natural, live feel bring the songs to life, reinforcing their themes of impermanence and transformation.
I know Iāll never be a guitar hero, but Iāve learned that my own voiceāflawed and imperfectāis the only one I need. This EP is me, fully embracing that. If it speaks to you, I hope youāll listen, connect, and come along for the ride.
My newest song, āTake Me On a Tripā is now on streaming services. The song is about well, whatever you want it to be about. However, letās just say when I wrote it I was thinking along the lines of metaphor . Almost none of the lyrics are meant to be interpreted literally. Iām channeling the Deftones, My Bloody Valentine, and and Depeche Mode for it. It has a jazz vibe, but I wouldnāt call it Jazz.
I really hope you like it, and if you do I hope you share it. I will ultimately see no money from any of its streams. However, the opportunity to connect with people who enjoy my art is priceless.

It is a bootleg mix because I used a program to isolate the vocals. It gives it an affect that feels stolen or bootlegged which emphasizes different aspects of the song.

Iāve been posting videos on Instagram reels which work in the under a minute time constraints. I decided to start putting them all on YouTube too. This one is calledĀ āLopsidedā. It has a Sequential Circuits Pro One cloned by that notorious German company. It has some of those cheap tiny Korg synth things. It has an electric guitar with active pickups. All the things which everybody uses but we were too afraid to tell people we did.Ā
This song, not the recording, is 200 years old today. My mom really likes this song, and this is me playing it on guitar and drums.

a music video of sorts
The first track I've created and uploaded for my bi-monthly free soloĀ songs project... Now that's aĀ mouthful! This song also happens to be one of my favorite Duke Ellington songs.
I intend to put a new track up on or pretty close to the 1st and 15th of the month, like a pay check. I will probably even avoid bank holidays.
Some of the songs will be covers (like this one), and some will be originals. Some will push me to the limit of my comfort zone (like this one), and some will be in genres I'm fairly familiar with. Along the way hopefully I'll learn a little bit about myself as aĀ musician, and most importantly you will hopefully enjoy the music.
