Server Plot Summary:
The setting is a small town in Japan, the town is called Yurei and it’s about 45 minutes from Tokyo. Strange things are known to happen here, but are usually brushed off by humans. Ghosts are everywhere, and the supernatural is very prevalent here. Evil spirits, yokai and just general demons lurk around every corner, waiting to prey upon the weak minded humans for their own personal gain.
Shinigami are an operation run solely off of spirits who have already passed away, and given a purpose in the afterlife. Their job is to exorcise these evil spirits, yokai and demons, pacifying tortured and lost souls and sending spirits on to the afterlife or hell, demons & yokai back where they belong.
Most humans can’t see these beings, let alone the ghosts and demons that walk the street. There are, however, some humans who are attuned to the supernatural plain and can see these beings. The Shinigami work to protect these humans. Typically, these humans are strong Shinigami once they finally pass from the mortal world.
If you’re just visiting this small town, welcome to the place where some have come to die or have come to experience the otherworldly. If you’re here to stay, Welcome to Yurei and enjoy your time here. The motto here is that different is completely normal and when night turns to day, the monsters come out to play.
We welcome pre-existing characters to the plot or if you’d like to join and make your own character to fit into the plot then please feel more than welcome to do that too!
