This mysterious “Caine bee” has me very intrigued! I’m not sure if I think the bee is Caine, or maybe a creation of Caine’s. I just liked the idea that this bee would have something to do with maybe finding Caine in ep 9

Also should I continue this comic?

I love the idea of big protector Caine, him using his power to protect Pomni instead of harm. Also getting to sketch a big Caine was so fun!

Lord I am so late to showtime week, but I was working on this during the week and it took longer than I thought! So here is my very late submission for day 3.

Probably time to show off my Pomni cosplay in full, she and Caine were an absolute insane project from last year! Took about six months to get everything done.

I’ll be taking my cosplay to many cons in the future, so if you see me and Caine in person, then come say hi :)

I'm gonna be real, I know no one is gonna see this but I really felt like writing this down somewhere-

I'm BEYOND glad that Pomni was the one to put jax in his place. I'm glad it was her and no one else.

Sure, do I believe that Jax needs to be told off by other characters- yes. However I think Pomni was the ONLY one that was fully able to see through his act and the ONLY ONE with the emotional intelligence to deflect him at every turn.

Before I start my long ass rant, I'm just gonna say that you don't have to agree with what I say. This is just my personal take on things. But as someone who feels so... inline? I guess is the word, with Pomni as a character, I understand completely where she's coming from. I've never ONCE had a character that I've looked at and said "yeah they're just like me" .

That was until pomni, and the more the show goes on, the more I understand her, and just like her, I understand having to deal with people like Jax. And yes, I said DEAL with people like him. This is definitely where I might lose some people but I don't have any sympathy for Jax. Actually, I've grown sympathy for everyone in the circus, except for Jax. The biggest reason why? Because he isn't trying to be better, he isn't trying to recognize what he's doing is bad or good or WHATEVER! He doubles down every single episode! Meanwhile, every other character has been, at the very least, recognizing that they have problems, and they WANT to fix them! EVEN CAINE (in his weirdness) is trying to make adventures for the cast that are fun or for their "trust" so that they can get along better. It's crazy to me that even the AI is trying. But Jax is a constant negative pull, and he knows that.

Going back to pomni though, it was interesting that when she was with Jax, she recognized that maybe there was something more to him. And truth be told, it did seem like he had reached out to her and tried to connect with her. Which makes their fight scene so much more intense

"You reached out to ME, not the other way around"

Mind you this was said after some MASSIVE deflection on his part. I mean this whole interaction just felt like talking to an Immature boy, who just LIKES to get a rise out of her. And Pomni having the emotional maturity to know that he's bullshiting, is only made more frustrating by the IMMATURITY of Jax throughout the ENTIRE conversation. He called her "delusional" about him reaching out to her, something that he DEFINITELY DID. And we as the audience know that.

But pomni doesn't have an audience to back her up. She only has herself, and this immature man who can't figure out his TRAMA. Again, this is probably where I'm gonna lose people, but I don't care that Jax is hurting. I don't care that shit happened to him. And wow, that sounds harsh to some, but how much sympathy can I have for a person that takes THEIR trama and pain out on not ONE, not TWO, not THREE, but an ENTIRE CAST!

Case in point, there might be an explanation to why he is this way, but it's NOT AN EXCUSE! just because you are hurting does NOT mean you have the right to treat other people like TOYS and then get SUPIRSED when someone retaliates back!

I dont blame Pomni for getting physical, after all, it was Jax that said it didn't matter anyways right? And yet he's surprised that someone fought back? Pomni, in a weird ass way, was able to expose this weird ass mentality of his and show him just how dangerous it was. And I can agree with people that say that he uses these " archetypes" as a safety net. And now that someone is finally showing him how damaged that safety net is, he doesn't know what to do with himself.

Almost every Jax statement is countered with something from Pomni, until it gets to the point that he's just fully exposing himself.

And I'm gonna be real, I think this is where pomni discovers, that there really is no saving him.

And yeah yeah some people are gonna say that there is something still there, but I disagree. I think what pomni is seeing, is something that MAY have been there at a time, some good in him, but I think it is LOOONNNGGG gone now. He didn't fight back because he cared, he did it cause someone went off script. Pomni didn't play into the delusion and now he's spiraling cause someone finally saw just how Unredeemable he truly was. Of course, while I personally would have given up on Jax, pomni is her own character. And she's incredibly mature and kind, even to people like Jax. Hens her wanting to check up on him in the theater.

Maybe, I'm wrong and maybe there is some hope left in Jax. Goosework had said that only the "strongest Jax fans" were gonna survive the show so I have a feeling that he's just long gone by now. But who knows, maybe pomni will be able to turn him around. Maybe not fully but, at least an effort is being made
