I read even more of The New Teen Titans last night; enjoy some thoughts. I actually wasn't planning on starting a titans read at all, fun fact, but my beautiful and amazing girlfriend was talking about Halloween costume ideas and mentioned a couple involving some of the titans, so I obviously had to go and pick up my iPad and get to reading. I haven't quite finished the first volume but here are some of my scattered thoughts:

- Starfire's backstory is so harrowing. I genuinely had no idea that was her backstory.

- Similarly, Raven's backstory also gutted me. I feel so bad for both of them and they're currently my two favorite members :p

- I'm thus far enjoying Cyborg and how he's handling being a half robot half human, he's the third character that I feel the most connected to thus far. My favorite novel of all time is also Frankenstein...

- Changeling would be 100% less annoying if he were a he/him lesbian

- Actually everyone should be a lesbian

- The plot can feel a little messy at times and like we're bouncing all over the place but hey it happens

- Because I am obsessed with my wife Helena, I just keep thinking about her even though she has basically nothing to do with the plot I'm just autistic
