We were both on our way to meetings so we had a quick chat but then met up later for dinner.

That must've been great. I think the last time I saw any of my blood family was for the holidays last year. Been so busy, just haven't found the time to catch up. But I'm sure he really appreciated that as time can go by so fast with parents.

Air going out in this heat wave? Yikes. I'd be a nightmare if I lost air conditioning in the SoCal heat. Especially with three kids in the house that probably wouldn't get any sleep either. I'll make a note of that for future use - do not use So Cal Air.

Luckily the kids are with their mother this week, so they got spared that much. I guess one could consider that the silver lining of this whole ordeal. I guess the thing needed to be changed out anyway, so better it go now when I'm alone over having any company. How are you doing though, T? Covered in blood? Yeah, that’s basically my résumé at this point. If there’s not at least one day on set where I’m sticky, stained, and questioning my life choices, is it even a Kyle Gallner project? Chaos keeps things interesting. Predictable is boring. Give me the mess. As for the indie thing… oh, it’s graphic. Not like ‘studio horror with a tasteful splash’ graphic. I mean the kind where the makeup team is apologizing to you while they glue something awful to your face. It’s intimate, nasty, emotional, and weirdly beautiful in that way only low‑budget horror can be. Perfect for a Netflix‑and‑chill‑with‑yourself night. You’ll get your blood quota, trust me. And probably a couple moments where you go, ‘What the hell did Kyle get himself into now?’ Which, honestly, is the correct reaction. I’ll spill more when I’m allowed… but just know: it’s exactly the kind of thing you’d expect me to say yes to.

Hell yeah, that is the epitome of a good time though! The graphic art of horror that is. Being covered in the fake syrupy stuff. Maybe I'm just a glutton for horror makeup as it is, so you're just hyping me up more here. Anything to support the indie community to get more recognition also helps too. Two birds, one stone, as the saying goes. I still say you should at least show up once covered. We all only have this one life, might as well have a little fun with it!

Man, I love that your house is an AHS house. That’s the best kind of chaos. And yeah… I’m right there with you. Thrilled because this season feels huge, but bummed because it’s the last time we’re all doing this together. Having the full cast of legends back makes it feel like some kind of reunion tour. I wish I could give you spoilers. I really do. But they’ve got everything locked down tighter than Fort Knox. Scripts with fake pages, coded call sheets, the whole nine yards. Ryan’s got us all terrified of accidentally saying the wrong thing. But I can say this — if you’re expecting the final season to go out quietly… you’re gonna be disappointed. It’s big. It’s weird. It’s emotional. And it feels like classic AHS in the best way. That’s all I can give you before someone tackles me.

I wouldn't expect anything less of AHS. Who wants it to go out quietly when it's been such a phenomenal thing? Love or hate it, it's always being talked about, and that in itself proves it's made an impact. Or maybe I'm always looking at the glass half-full, who knows. But trust me, I have a box of tissues and sinus spray to keep the airways free for it all on standby. And I'm sure for the last episode, the very last one, I'll be having a watch party so it can be a collective sobfest. As I'm expecting to not be alone in that. One of my favorite things in life is going some place and running into a family member unexpectedly. I didn't even know my father and I were in the same city, but what a pleasant surprise.

AHS is back, baby! we're working on season thirteen and it’s the usual murphy chaos. jessica’s back, sarah’s back, angela’s back… it feels like someone hit the nostalgia switch and broke it off. it’s weird in that full‑circle kind of way because this is the final season, but also kind of nice having the old crew together again. makes the late filming nights feel less brutal. \\ @otrrpstarters

i’ve been working pretty consistently lately. got a couple indie things, some horror stuff, the usual ‘kyle plays a guy going through it’ roles. it’s funny, i keep thinking the universe is gonna slow me down, and then another script shows up like, ‘hey, wanna be emotionally damaged again?’ between that and juggling dad‑life, i feel like I’m living in two different worlds. one day I’m covered in fake blood, the next i’m at a school event pretending i’m not the guy who just filmed a possession scene. hopefully i won't ever mix up the two and show up at school covered in blood. could you imagine the chaos? // @otrrpstarters

consider me intrigued! i heard the keywords “covered in blood” and i guess one can consider that my calling card. whether i’m experiencing it myself or seeing it done with others i’m all for it. because honestly, causing chaos is the only way to go to keep things fun and unpredictable in this thing called life. as long as you’re having fun, can’t go wrong. now tell me more about this indie project and how graphic it’ll be so i know what to look out for for my next netflix and chill session with myself.
