Is it wrong to want to touch the sun, to want to long for the moon?

I am the center which it all spins, dreams, hopes, the goals, I am the guide, burning, burning with light.

Do not let my heart collapse, no black holes, destroyed dreams or hopes, I'm burning, as a star.

I want to keep dreaming,

Is it wrong to want to touch the sun, to want to long for the moon? To find the peace that comes after storms that gift rainbows?

Breathe! Breathe! The voices, the wind, they all say, but how to slow the raging hurricane? How to stop the ascent (the fall) before I break apart all over again?

Defined by these moments, again, stuck on this chapter, I don't want to be Icarus no more or stuck in some Greek tragedy, let me grasp the stars, please, please.

Haha, I forgot where I took this photo. It was early December or still early spring. There was snow on the ground and parts of the stream were iced over. We kept losing the trail as it was not well-marked. It was an adventure, just not as bad as our Catskills adventure went. This was several years ago (before 2019).

FYI, one is a horizontal photo and the other is vertical. Hard to tell in the tumblr preview, but yeah.
