Holiday Sketch Giveaway ! I will be posting the rules for the contest this Monday so stay tuned! I am so hyped !!! On weekends not many people check Instagram so Monday seems like a better fit ! Stay tuned! This is my first giveaway so I am a little scared but in life you gotta do it or you will never do it! In the mean time here is some progress from 2003 to 2017! Not sure if I got way better but the journey has been rewarding so far. I learned so much ! I cried, I failed, I got spit on my face, I gave up but then I got up again to keep trying with those wounds in my hands and heart ! But In the end I truly Never gave up !!! Because the true losers are the ones who give up, not the ones who haven’t achieved their dreams yet. Remember that. And I still haven’t given up. I haven’t achieved my dreams yet but don’t care if I have to make 100 more terrible drawings, I have to keep trying. Sometimes us artists get discouraged because is so damn hard to get better at our craft, but life is short so instead of crying and not doing anything, is more important to get up and continue our journey !!! Trust me. The times I have cried the worst in my life have been due to terrible failed paintings that took me days to finish. Finally done with this piece. I was done with it DAYS ago but forgot to post it. This painting was more of a test of the medium. I used liquitex acrylic inks, ground medium, regular liquitex acrylics and colored pencils for the texture. I am super excited to start working on a new series of drawings and paintings but I have work to do!!! I have an itch for drawing and painting naooo 😭😭😭soon thou. Yo, check this out. Here are some thumbnails, sketches and brainstorming for some upcoming illustrations and projects I am working on. In the past, I been posting process and 70% done illustrations WHICH I NEVER take to finish due to my lack of confidence in my work. I usually start something, and if I don't like it, I don't care if that dang piece of work took me a month to make. I DUMP it. I probably shouldn't do that... but the problem is that I post the progress here and the finished drawing never gets to see the light of the day. I will try to not do that anymore and just post the dang drawing. So here is some process of stuff I am working on. I am putting this here to obligate myself to have more confidence and finish stuff. Hi new followers! Today I woke up to find out that I am now on 2k followers! Thanks so much for the support!!!!! 🙏🏼🙈🙈 Let me introduce myself , I was born in Honduras but I am currently based in Mexico, my favorite things in life are animation, Comics, manga, Honduran food and tacos. Anyways, Here is an in progress piece of a fanart That I am painting of my favorite character of all time. #kenshin 😎And For this month of #inktober I am experimenting with colored Inks, so in this image I painted thick layers of ink for the hair and blood and thin washes of ink and gesso on his skin and bandages. I then added a thin layer of textured paste for the layer of colored pencils I put in top. This has been a crazy process but I am enjoying it a lot so far. The final piece will look so different but I hope you like it. When I am done with this piece would you guys be interested in a print giveaway? Hello Guys! How's your inktobers coming along? Here is my #inktober day 5: Alien Empress . I lost count of what inktober day we are in :-/ . I find it really hard to just create b/w inktobers cuz I am not very good at ink so they end up looking like shet if I add no color. I am more of a dry media Gal. Although I am not Gona lie.
