We are continuing to follow updates in the passing of Ashly Robinson, more commonly known as Ashlee Jenae 🕊️

Authorities in Zanzibar, Tanzania, have announced that their investigation has concluded and say their investigation determined that Ashly’s death was a suicide linked to mental distress. According to investigators, evidence reviewed during the investigation included text messages, farewell messages, and ChatGPT searches relating to suicide methods that were allegedly made prior to her death.

Following the conclusion of the investigation, her fiancé Joe McCann released a statement expressing his grief and thanking Tanzanian authorities for what he described as a thorough and professional investigation. He wrote that he misses Ashly “every moment of every day” and said the pain of losing her will never go away.

Ashly’s passing sparked worldwide attention, with many people following the case closely and seeking answers in the weeks following her death.
