This week's game 8 was a crucial step in the journey towards the final pitch for the participants. The focus of the game was on the preparations leading up to the ultimate presentation where ideas would be put to the test.

The game involved dividing the group into two distinct roles: entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. Each group had a unique set of responsibilities and challenges to tackle during the game.

The entrepreneurs were tasked with preparing their idea within a tight timeframe of 10 minutes. This short window pushed them to think on their feet, prioritize key points, and refine their pitch to be concise and impactful.

Following the preparation phase, the entrepreneurs had 5 minutes to present their idea to the venture capitalists. This presentation time was crucial as it required the entrepreneurs to effectively communicate their vision, value proposition, and market potential in a clear and compelling manner.

After the presentations, the venture capitalists had the opportunity to engage with the entrepreneurs by asking two questions. These questions aimed to delve deeper into the viability of the idea, the scalability of the business model, and the overall potential for success.

With the conclusion of the question and answer session, the game came to an end. The feedback and interaction between the entrepreneurs and venture capitalists provided valuable insights and learning opportunities for all participants.

This week in class was a whirlwind of activity as we delved into the completion of Milestone 4, building upon the foundations laid during Milestone 3. The focus was on finalizing our projects and preparing for presentations, marking significant progress in our academic journey.

The week kicked off with a strong emphasis on Milestone 4, which served as a natural progression from our work in Milestone 3. This phase was crucial in refining our projects, implementing feedback, and ensuring that all components were seamlessly integrated. The dedication and hard work put into Milestone 3 set the stage for a successful transition into this next phase of development.

During the initial meeting of the week, the instructor took a unique approach by allowing us to focus solely on the tasks at hand. Rather than conducting a traditional class session, the time was dedicated to fine-tuning our projects for Milestone 4 and perfecting our presentations for Milestone 3. This hands-on approach provided us with the opportunity to concentrate on our work without interruptions, fostering a productive and collaborative environment.

As the week progressed, the anticipation grew for the presentation of Milestone 3 projects. In the second meeting, five groups were randomly selected to showcase their progress. Among these fortunate groups was ours, presenting the culmination of our efforts in Milestone 3. This moment was a testament to our hard work, creativity, and dedication throughout the project timeline.

Despite our best efforts, it seemed increasingly likely that we might struggle to submit our work on time.

Fortunately, amidst the academic whirlwind, a ray of hope emerged in the form of our considerate instructor. Recognizing the predicament we faced, our instructor extended the deadline for Milestone 3, offering us a lifeline and the opportunity to regroup. With the newfound breathing space, we delved into the challenges of Milestone 3, grappling with uncertainties and the need to make assumptions to move forward. Despite the hurdles, our team rallied together, leveraging our collective strengths and determination to navigate the complexities of the project. Through collaboration, perseverance, and a shared commitment to excellence, we overcame the obstacles that stood in our way and successfully submitted Milestone 3 on time. Our journey from Milestone 1 to Milestone 2 has been a testament to our dedication and hard work towards creating a product that stands out in the market. In this blog post, we will delve into the key highlights of our recent presentation and the progress we have made.

One of the key additions in our Milestone 2 presentation was the Competitional Analysis. This section showcased a detailed comparison of our product with other similar products in the market. By highlighting the differences, we were able to position our product uniquely and emphasize its strengths.

The next segment focused on the Lean Canvas, a strategic management template that addresses key aspects of a business model. Here, we discussed the problems faced by our target audience and proposed innovative solutions to address these challenges. The Lean Canvas provided a clear roadmap for our product development process.

In the spotlight of our presentation was the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). This section highlighted the core features and functionalities of our product that set it apart from the competition. By showcasing the advantages and benefits of our MVP, we demonstrated the value proposition that our product offers to users.

This week is focused on showcasing Milestone 2. Nevertheless, no one in the group has gotten ready because we were aware that the deadline was not that day. To utilize our time effectively, the professor tasked us with showcasing Milestone 1. While we were presenting, I lost connection because I was running errands for my mom. Ultimately, we failed to present it properly as no one was able to answer the questions asked.

Despite the challenges faced during the presentation of Milestone 1, this setback serves as a crucial learning experience. The loss of connection during the presentation due to unexpected circumstances could have been disheartening, but it highlights the importance of adaptability and resilience in overcoming obstacles. Moving forward, this experience has motivated us to prioritize preparedness and effective communication within the group. By embracing setbacks as opportunities for growth and remaining steadfast in our determination, we are better equipped to navigate future challenges with confidence and achieve our goals successfully.

During the last week of midterm examination, our group presented the pitch deck which serves as our examination for this course. As we stood before the panel, our passion and commitment shone through despite the hurdles we had faced. However, constructive feedback soon followed. Rather than simply presenting a conventional report, the panel suggested a more engaging approach: storytelling. This revelation sparked a newfound sense of clarity, illuminating the path forward for us.

As we prepare for the next presentation leading up to the finals week, we will do so with newfound confidence and purpose. The challenges we encountered serve not as roadblocks, but as catalysts for innovation. Through collaboration and resilience, we will transform adversity into opportunity, emerging stronger and more determined than ever before.

The challenges we've faced aren't stopping us, they're pushing us to come up with new ideas. By working together and staying strong, we know we can turn these challenges into opportunities. Our group is ready to tackle whatever comes our way, and we're determined to come out even stronger in the end.

There were no physical or online classes conducted this week. However, we have been tasked to further improve the business thesis template and value proposition canvas especially in the customer job part. In order to resolve the lacking parts, we have interviewed more people that are involved with biogas production. With this, we gain more understanding of our product and look over the parts that we have been overlooked.

Taking into account their thoughts and perspectives on the problem, we are able to limit down the options available to us and select the most appropriate one. Not only are we able to generate a profit from this product, but we are also able to reduce our reliance on traditional forms of energy. As a result, the activities for this week have come to a close, and we are looking forward to the upcoming games.

The focus of the class this week is on presenting the Value Proposition Canvas and the Business Thesis Template. Prior to this, our group had made the decision to revert back to our first concept of purifying biogas using Pressure Swing Adsorption. This is due to a number of gaps in the printing services. We are unable to accurately pinpoint the root cause of the problem. Therefore, the group has chosen to return to our initial concept.

The Value Proposition Canvas identified the benefits and challenges associated with our service. The goal is to reduce the CO2 level and increase the methane content in biogas. Regarding the pain, it specifically addresses the neglected biogas contributions to CO2 emissions, which have a negative impact on sustainability initiatives. Following the presentation of the Value Proposition Canvas, the Business Thesis template was introduced. The thesis template encountered no issues. However, during the discussion of the Value Proposition Canvas, the instructor emphasized that the content of the customer work section should accurately reflect the activities performed by the consumer.

With the help of the group members and instructor, what we need to focus on has narrowed down. Moving forward, our group will delve deeper into refining our understanding of the consumer's perspective and how our solution fits into their needs. Thus, concluding this week's activity.

We have completed the development of our service, which is similar to foodpanda, but the partnership is with printing services. In addition, we conducted interviews with students and workers who experienced difficulties with the printing services. The primary issue they face is the lack of knowledge on the appropriate location for printing. Our proposed concept effectively resolves these issues.

The two sessions this week were held virtually using the Zoom platform. During the virtual lecture, we were requested to provide updates and advancements pertaining to our services offered. Following the meeting, the instructor afterwards gives us the task of presenting the Value Proposition Canvas in the upcoming week. In conclusion, this week's events have come to an end.

The activities for this week were carried out through the use of an online Zoom meeting. The task to present their weekly report was given to each of the groups involved. We were given a task to conduct interviews with individuals concerning our product a few days before the date of the reporting. Because of the constraints of time, we were only able to conduct interviews with two students. 

The interview focused on the challenges faced by a student. A typical issue they faced was the accessibility of printing services in their area. aspiring entrepreneurs, we viewed this as a chance to generate income. Creating a webpage displaying nearby printing services might benefit students unfamiliar with their locations.

On the day of reporting, we presented the concept that the group had considered. Our idea has several loopholes, as highlighted by our instructor. Issues like these can be resolved by increased awareness. After that, we were asked to investigate the situation even further. Despite feeling disheartened, everyone in the group recognizes that this is just the inception of an even more remarkable concept.

In order to have a successful business, one must know the product first. A helpful aid in enthusiasm is knowing what you're talking about. That's the point of playing the Fishbowl Game!

In the first session this week, we were given an activity called Fishbowl Game. Since this is a group activity, the game started with us assigning two members as players while the other members are observers. The players were given 15 minutes to discuss the chosen topic using the 7P's (Purpose, Product People, Process, Preparation, Practical Concerns, and Pitfalls) - which was all about biogas as a renewable energy alternative. After discussing for 15 minutes, the roles of the members were switched wherein the observers became players and vice versa. When all the discussions are done, we were able to narrow down our thoughts and ideas.

As for what happened in the second session, we were tasked by our instructor to sign up in Wadhwani website in connection with the activity we had during our first activity. Our instructor also discussed the activity for next week.

This week, we were able to do a lot of things in a small amount of time. We learned more information regarding our product as we discussed with our members. We also get to know the different perspectives that each member has. A fruitful week indeed!

During the first meeting, we were asked to watch a video and then assigned an activity. We form a group consisting of 8 members. In order to accomplish the given task, which is to come up with ideas for a solution to one of the many Sustainable Development Goals that the world is now challenging, the group brainstormed and shared ideas. 

A decision was made by the group to select one of the many Sustainable Development Goals that are associated with the college program that we are enrolled in. After that, the committee decided to go with the ninth Sustainable Development Goal, which is all about industries, innovation, and infrastructure. The purpose of this objective is to encourage sustainable industrialization and to promote innovation. Following deep contemplation and preparation, we successfully presented these subjects to the entire class.

After all the groups have presented, the instructor gave 2 links for us to open. These links are personality tests. The results will determine the new group for the next activity. Thus, concluding this week’s activities.
