King Gator with a couple o' alts drawn in celebration of when I first found StefĂĄn Karl's performance in the Icelandic dub of the movie, which you can check out here! đđ
He voices other characters besides King Gator, but I enjoyed King Gator's the most ^_^!!
"Free Spot!" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
And this is the last prompt! A free spot to do whatever you want and I wanted to take this chance to say while this might be the last prompt... it isn't the end!
As I didn't want to make this into a challenge and for people to go about the prompt list as they liked, I'm keeping it open indefinitely for anyone who wants to join in to celebrate StefĂĄn Karl :)
Take it as a form of inspiration to make whatever post you want, drawn, written, screenshots, gifs, edits, whatever your heart desires!
I also want to say that I appreciate all of those who participated, wanted to participate, shared and commented on my posts, but this isn't the end as StefĂĄn Karl is a man worth celebrating no matter the occasion đđ
I am happy to have finally done this and look forward to what the future will bring in honoring his memory đąđ

"Then vs. Now" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
What's the best way to show off "Then vs. Now" than with re-drawing my first ever drawing of Robbie Rotten?
From November 2016 to July 2025!

"Crossovers" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
There's a lot of crossovers I could do but I felt the most fun one would be to crossover some of StefĂĄn Karl's characters, and of course I thought of these two, Ted from Titch and Ted and Robbie Rotten from Lazytown!
The reason why is quite simple... I feel like they have a lot of things in common while also being different enough that it would be pretty fun to see them interact in some hypothetical crossover :,)

"Dream Role Casting" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
I don't exactly have a dream role for StefĂĄn Karl, I'd love to see him play any character ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
But, I thought why not drawn my design for Planticus! A silly pun that StefĂĄn would use on his Instagram tags when showing off his plants.
Instead of just being an elf like Sportacus, he's an elf/troll hybrid đđą

"Pets & Animals" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
And now for something a bit lighter, I've previously drawn StefĂĄn Karl with Rufus, his cat and, Olina, his red macaw, so why not draw Robbie Rotten with Sugarpie?

"Face for Expressions" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
There was a lot I could've done for this prompt, considering just how much I enjoy drawing and painting StefĂĄn Karl's expressive face!
But I felt that this recent illustration of his performance as Jack Quinn from Stones in His Pockets (2012) was a perfect fit, mostly because of how many different expressions I managed to draw in a single piece :)
You can find the references I used, plus more, here:

"Steinunn ĂlĂna" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
For this prompt, I wanted to re-draw one of my favorite photos of them together, there were many to choose from but I knew I'd have the most fun rendering this one:

"ĂramĂłtaskaup" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
Another piece I made to improve my skills in Blender and this time featuring Bogo Dumont!
Heâs from one of my favorite skits in ĂramĂłtaskaup and was also the first character that introduced me to the show.
I sculpted him in Blender and then painted over and edited the result in Procreate, since Iâm still a total newbie when it comes to 3D stuff xP
And for the uninitiated, here's the sketch with provided translations!
đŹ 13  đ 872  â¤ď¸ 1397 ¡ It was a tossup between tackle and tallywhackers but we can see what won out! Plus it sounds infinitely funnier

"You Are a Pirate!" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
While brainstorming ideas for this prompt, I randomly remembered something interesting!
The episode of Rottenbeard had Ken Pontac on board as one of the writers, and he also helped write the lyrics for You Are a Pirate.
Something else Ken Pontac worked on was Bump in the Night, a show I grew up with and still have a soft spot for.
So, since I was trying to improve my skills in Blender, I modeled what Rottenbeard might have looked like if he appeared in Bump in the Night as a claymation-style action figure :)

"Plantdad" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
For this prompt, I figured it was as better time as any to clean up one of my first "official" 3D models and scene!
I wanted to recreate a drawing I made in a low-poly art style, featuring our favorite plant dad, StefĂĄn Karl đđąđ

"Happy Birthday!" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
Today would've mark StefĂĄn Karl's 50th year, the milestone that inspired me to finally begin this month-long celebration in hopes of bringing fans together.
Iâve wanted to do something like this for years. As I mentioned in the announcement post, the idea was partly inspired by something Steinunn ĂlĂna once shared:
"I remember how determined he was to celebrate his 50th birthday and repeatedly invited his doctors to that party of hope."
Last year, I had something prepared like usual, just a simple portrait to mark his birthday on July 10th. But I wasnât in a good place mentally. I wasnât satisfied with what I had drawn, and even though it was complete, I knew I could do better but I just couldn't at the time.
So I left it in my drafts and didnât post anything.
While preparing for this celebration, I remembered that portrait. And I decided to give my idea another chance. I started fresh, with better references, a clearer head, and more technical tools I learned, 3D posing, photo editing, and some light photo-bashing.
But looking at them now, I realize this isnât just a difference in skill. Itâs a difference in my mental health.
Even if the older one wasn't as detailed, it was still good, but just not as good as I would've liked it, so, I went all out for the second one.
Regardless of which one people like, I'm happy to finally post them both and to use this month as a motivator to get better overall.
This is not the end of the celebration, so, I hope you look forward to see more and to join in as well!
Life is now! #CelebrateStefanKarl ~â¨đ

"Something He Taught You" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
This was one of the prompts I struggled with the most.
I wanted to create an edit to go with my thoughts, and after some time, I was finally satisfied with how it turned out. But that still didnât make it any easier to figure out what I wanted to write.
The truth is, Iâve learned so much from StefĂĄn Karl that it feels impossible to sum it all up in one post... So maybe I should start with the first thing he helped me through.
I first learned about him toward the end of 2016. I was around 16 or 17 at the time, going through the kind of things any depressed and socially anxious teenager might face, especially one who had been bullied throughout school.
But something shifted the day I learned about StefĂĄn Karlâs illness. It was the first time I felt a strong, immediate need to help someone I didnât even know. I couldnât fully explain why, but I remember begging my parents to donate to him.
From that point on, I kept up with him. I read everything he posted. I watched everything I could find. I wanted to learn more about who he was. It was the first time I ever truly "idolized" a real person.
Over time, I realized that idolizing him wouldnât be right. He was a human being, it would be wrong to put him up on a pedestal if I truly cared about him as a person.
Still, he became a massive role model for me. He brought me joy, encouragement, and inspiration. He made me want to be better.
At the end of the day, Iâm human, and so was he. We make mistakes. We say things we donât mean. We let emotions get the better of us. But despite all that, I try to follow the guidance he left behind. His thoughts, his feelings, his words... they continue to touch me deeply.
Itâs his humanity that made me respect and admire him even more.
He will never know who I am, but I learned so much from him. My life changed because of him. Thank you, StefĂĄn Karl. đđą

"Voice Acting" â Part of the StefĂĄn Karl 50th Celebration Prompt List
For the Voice Acting prompt, I wanted to highlight my favorite character and voice performance by StefĂĄn Karl: Count Dracula from Hotel Transylvania 2!
I chose to draw him as if he was in a live performance rather than just animated.
Sadly, the first film didnât get an Icelandic dub, but the sequel did and StefĂĄn voiced the lead role. I loved watching it so much. His performance in it is amazing!
This is just the trailer, for those interested in watching the movie, there may be a way to watch it here! *wink wink, nudge nudge*
