The forest's murmur stirs up childhood fears—the dread of getting lost or being eaten by a wolf that is imaginary, yet so real in one's mind. The forest is filled with hiding places, like a planet teeming with life.

Our reflection in this mirror makes my head spin. I have seen so many wounds behind my own image. The forest can bear witness to them. Soon, I will have to take the leap into the unknown.
