Blog Update
Wow. An actual blog update in such a long time. I know, it might feel surreal to everyone else who’s been following the blog, but I got some reasons why this happened. I had a con to prepare for, the prospect of wisdom teeth coming out is somewhere in the future, but honestly the big reason was...
And a hard fall back into the RPG Maker scene, but that’s reason #2.
You know the feeling. You drenched yourself so much in a game you’re enjoying to the point where you’re kind of getting sick of it all. I just needed a long break from Asagao before heading back to school. But I think I should be good for now. I’ve had a long break and now I’m ready to go. I’m currently downloading the new version that’s out so we should have nothing to worry about.
Welp. Let’s hope for more Asagao from me~

#FuckShane2016
Book Review: Shane
Aaaaand with that, we have finished all of the Normal Boots routes! Wow, this has been quite the trip. No no, I’m not going to abandon the blog after this. I’ll still do my fun stuff with it. It’s just that...well, at least I can openly talk about Asagao and all the fun spoilers that come with it. Hooray, hoorah. But now, let’s finally talk about the Lone Boot. The one that dug under my skin for the entire game. Shane Shane Shaaaaaaaane...Shane of Fo-ools~
Me (Mitsuki)
Shane, during the grand majority of our game, just utterly hated Hana a lot. Satch was probably the highest level of douchebaggery he ever got and it dug him down to the lowest bowel of hatred. So when I come out of this saying that this is probably one of the best routes of the game, even I’m in shock about those words.
Then again, I did plan this so that I can gather all the hatred I can get from him and then have it all dispel into guilt into the inevitable backstory Shane has. Hopefully, it would actually explain why Shane hated pink hair all that much.
Well, the details that we’ve been given about the “dead dog” story didn’t seem to justify all of Shane’s piloruphobia, in my opinion. And by that, I mean the “dead dog” story isn’t actually a dead dog, but rather the metaphor I use to cover the spoiler for Shane’s actual problem. And to be honest, I don’t know how the hell that story ended up into this weird hatred for it.
Then again, it’s probably my fault. It’s the Guy and Lon’qu problem all over again. Sure, seeing the girl you love getting murdered before your eyes would probably give you some deep gynophobia. But when I’ve already seen a case where this same gynophobia stemmed from a dude who was literally buried in the bodies of maids and his own damn sister for WEEKS on end...yeah, everything else looks weak sauce in comparison. In fact, the route probably would’ve worked to my personal tastes if someone actually DID die on an occasion. But eh, I’m not the target demographic here.
Honestly, wouldn’t be the first tsundere Brit I’ve encountered.
This was probably the first time I’ve seen a tsundere male who was more dere than tsun. ESPECIALLY in a route that covered the tsun. Oh yes. Shane is most definitely a tsundere male. But once we actually went ahead and started DATING this man, the tsundere clearly showed. Yet, the tsun is thicker than the dere even though most of the time he was just dere-
Okay, sounding weird, translating.
Asagao Shane is a tsundere. The tsun was the part with all the bitchiness that made me utterly despise him. He’s like a jack fruit in that regard: too much work, the outside is prickly as hell, and could probably kill someone. And yet, once you break that tsun shell, nothing but sweetness and shyness and dere all around. In fact, you wonder where that phobia went and whether or not it was real in the end. Hell, after the first “disaster” of the route, it doesn’t even come up again! It feels so...WEIRD.
This kind of bleeds into the romance part, but I think it would be great to mention it here: the relationship part was so genuine and emotional that me and sis were instantly invested, and wanted nothing more than for these two to get their happily ever after. So much so, in fact, that we kept copping out of the tournament every time we knew we’d get a Bad Ending. We didn’t want Hana and Shane to fail because of us. We didn’t want to see the conclusion of our failed choices.
Heh, time travelling joke
Yeah, that’s right. We copped out of seeing the Bad Ending. Even though we got it so many times. Yell at us for being inaccurate, but at this point and time Hana ain’t suffering on our watch. We went Homura and we nailed it.
Which, given the topic, should lead us into the romance...
Sis (Shana)
This is the same girl that just kept saying how much PBG had the best romance of the bunch, kept comparing all of them to him and how much they were all so cute and how Hana and PBG were OTP and now...sis is utterly in love with the cuteness this time around.
It’s like Shane’s route and the introduction were in two completely different worlds. There was no romantic tension during the intro, and then we choose Shane and OOP, THERE’D IS! All of it! Everywhere!
I mean, we had to do a cuddle break because Shane said something cute and sis had to curl up and squee. She never did that during PBG’s!!!
Sis was always in love with the awkward ones. And Shane was at most awkward as hell, even more than PBG. At least he stopped once he and Hana spilled the beans about their past. Shane is just awkward the entire way through. He doesn’t know how to emote, but he’s trying. There’s obviously romantic tension and the reason why no one is moving in on it is due to personal problems regarding the other person! Plus, Shane stutters half the time and seems to say the same thing Hana wants at the same time. It really did make us squeal.
This route has the longest Best End animation that Asagao Normal Boots has to offer. This leads me to one conclusion: this shit right here is the canon route of Asagao. ALL “true endings” in visual novels are the longest and have the most info! I’m telling you!
It’s so weird. Halfway through what is basically a cuddle fest I realized that we’re still in the Best End. We haven’t even gotten to the after-credits scene yet! They’re just so cute and lovey dovey and even talking about each other’s past and even why Hana keeps her hair short, that I literally had to snap the cuteness each time by joking about how they’re just going to do some hardcore porking after all of this.
That’s right. We had to make dirty sex jokes just to get ourselves to stop squeeing from the cuteness. To us, THAT is the sign of a true relationship right there.
The one thing she does know is that Jared is a sold third place right now.
Total Attempts: Six Final Review: Zelos Wilder / 10
Which makes this funnier because Jared’s more of a Zelos to me.
It was a miracle that this route ended up so high. Here was a character I hated with every single thread of fiber that stemmed by very being. Every single route, I called him Lone Boot, the one without a pair. Every plot review had a Shane tolerance level. One scene in the Introduction route made him launch so far down the hole that I instantly launched him into the hated list. I just wanted Shane to burn in every single layer of hell next to the succubus cunt that was Mimi.
And yet I actually started hanging out with him and now...he’s one of my favorites of the bunch.
Does that justify his piloruphobia? If anything, the actual explanation was kind of...blech. Hana trying to start a friendship in Chapter Two felt strangely forced to me. But it didn’t matter. They were a couple that I bought. They were a pair that I could ship. This was a relationship I wanted to last. This is definitely something I would tie with PBG as favorite route of the game, and I am glad I played this last.
I would look into the Hidden Routes, but I have a con to go to in a few days, so maybe I’ll do them after. But for now, I am very happy to have gotten this done before I went. Maybe someone else has finished the game like me down there?
We just did Shane's route. Best ending. Sis's heart just went doki doki. MORE THAN DURING PBG'S ROUTE. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN TO US
Book Review: Continue
I really wanted to get this out of the way before we even start talking about the route review. Because I’ve been only hearing horror stories about all the route, but honestly after I figured out what was going on we all cruised to the Best End on the first try. To this day, I still don’t have a clue.
But honestly, this is actually kind of a funny coincidence. Continue finally started playing their route on their channel...the day after we finished it. So on the very off chance they somehow own a Tumblr account and read this book review (which given my luck they won’t, because...I lack pink hair), I’ll try to keep this as spoiler free as possible.
Me (Mitsuki)
We were pretty disappointed with Jon’s route because we walked in expecting a funny route and ended up with annoyance and frustration. Funnily enough, Paul’s route basically fixed all the issues that Jon’s had...with just the same amount of annoyance.
Seriously, for those of you who have played both routes, they share so many plot points: they’re busy with something on top of the tournament, and are just immune to Hana’s obvious attraction. The difference is that Jon is more blunt than dense, while Paul is more dense than blunt. It somehow makes the really stupid stuff that he does during this route generate less anger than the crap Jon pulled in his.
I know that it’s the Continue guys in this route, and they were basically just insanity on wheels, but seriously, I had no idea where the route was going. To the point where I was starting to dissociate with the story.
I mean, the whole first part of Chapter Two plays almost like a parody drama. People are crying, arguments are going on, and there is endless, constant tension...over stupid shit. Let’s drop an early clue: when Hana first started crying about something that happened with Paul, I remember thinking “that was it? That’s the problem?”, which might be a little harsh. Anyone who read the route probably understood and accepted it as a legitimate problem, but I didn’t. I thought that was the point.
I don’t actually remember too much interaction between the Continue boys and the other members of the Normal Boots, save for PB&J and a really good conversation with Jon that actually elevated him to a good status for me. In fact, after the annoyance that was Jared and Paul, I’m surprised they didn’t pull off an equivalent to them here and now. In fact, was Jared in this route? I think they mentioned him through Mai...
No, most of the important interaction dealt with the Hidden Block members, especially with Jeff and Ian. Those moments made me tense a lot. Gotta admit: the Hidden Block Route was pretty awesome. Probably one of the better ones of the game.
Unlike Jon, I walked into this with no expectation whatsoever...and honestly I was having a blast the whole time, even when Paul was being an accidental jerk. The lighthearted comedy was so high that it even surpassed anime levels, while the drama was more facepalming than rage inducing. Actually, everything was more facepalming than laughter/anger. The unpredictability of the route kept me guessing every single time, and most of the time I was wrong. Though I was able to keep my “strategy” working all the way into the end.
Did I take all of this seriously? It was kinda hard to, even when the route asked me to take it seriously. It’s a joke route, and I pulled some enjoyment out of it.
What the flying mother fuck was that?!
Sis (Shana)
At the very least, sis said her heart at least went “dok”, which is already a step ahead of Jon’s. However, she found this relationship to be rather hard to believe as if Paul didn’t take it seriously at all. Especially when he accidentally pulls off the douche card.
Meanwhile, I at least could buy that there were some things that Hana could find attractive in him. I mean, you could joke that Continue is the Butt Monkey trope, and few girls actually find that trope attractive, but you know what? I’m one of them. I find the Butt Monkey cute half the time, and I found Paul rather likable in his strange denseness. Half the reasons why he did them was actually stuff I would probably rationalize. Maybe.
For all the other routes, it was “get the senpai to notice me”. For Jared, it was “hope the senpailationship works”. Here? It was “let’s try to get over senpai” route because it was pretty clear Paul wasn’t interested in her at first, and watching the downward spiral as trying to climb out of the crush hole and falling into the love cracks would bring up, cursing the entire trip along the way.
It was something that I kind of wish Hana pulled off with Jon’s route. But then again, Jon did openly bring Hana out on a date. Paul was just mixed signaling to the point where even I was getting frustrated.
Yeah. All of Continue somehow gets into the romantic business as well. I’ll leave it to you to see if it leads to polygamy or not. Maybe the Bad Ending actually plays with this concept. I dunno. I haven’t seen it.
But you know what? It’s actually kind of interesting. I was expecting something akin to Ted the movie in terms of these guys. Instead, I got what I can only call a strange parallel between Hana’s relationship with Paul and her relationship with the other two.
Granted, he gets screwed over a lot less than in any other route. Actually, I think he only gets screwed over that on time. But that one time? It made sis die a little inside. We had to take a break and have a quick cry over it. That and after we were done with Paul’s route, sis went back and replayed PBG’s route from the beginning. At 2 AM.
No regrets.
Final Review: A So Bad, It’s Good Route
Well, more like “it’s so serious, it’s funny” route, but even I’m not sure if this is an accurate representation of our emotions.
The route began in a way that made it feel like a parody plot. Then halfway through we went into serious drama before going back into happiness...and THEN THE ENDING HAPPENED AND NOW I’M BACK TO META PARODY.
I rather enjoyed this route, but honestly I can’t really settle my thoughts on it. The final verdict is good, but I can’t recall if it started off bad or if it was good in the beginning. Maybe I just need a few days to think about it.
Well, only one more route remains for me and sis.
Shane.
Lone Boot.
This dead dog better be worth it.

The Extended Asagao Universe
You know, back when Asagao Academy was starting to build up in popularity, there were a couple of fanarts playing with the idea of the Game Grumps being a “DLC” path for Hana to take. As a result, there are many images of Arin, Dan, Suzy, Holly, Ross, Barry and Brian all running around in their own specific jackets. Many find it amusing.
I say that we can go a lot farther than that~
All of this thinking started with one fun little line in the Satch route.
First off.
Hah.
Secondly, with a reference that specific and hilarious, that totally means that there is an Asagao NateWantsToBattle and Alex running around in the game. Let’s grab another quick crossover. Can’t have an Alex without a PokeKellz, right? All right, with that we can turn to Nate. Who did he crossover and hence might have an Asagao equivalent?
Shit, wrong thumbnail.
Theeeeeeere we go.
What, I just want more Asagao Nate in my life. I could keep going, buuuut..I’d be here all day.
So surprise, surprise! Turns out I’m taking a quick detour in my con schedule to visit AnimeNext next weekend! You’ll find me in the artist alley with blackrosemikage~ :3 In the meantime, have some more undertales. <3
ANIMENEXT?!
AWESOME! I'll hopefully see you there!
Book Review: ProJared
We just REAAAAALLLLLLY like to play the game, that’s all. After the platonic feeling JonTron and the way too fluffy Jirard, we just wanted something in the middle. Something funny...and yet dramatic. And hence we turned our head to Jared. We kept it so late because we really didn’t want to disappoint Mai after all the crap we went through with her. But after we did the route...we were presently surprised. In fact, REALLY surprised.
Pre-Note
Yeah, actually. The basic layout is there: poor, kind girl gets into hi jinks with a rich boy who’s kind of a douche. They somehow fall in love despite the constant tension between the two. Something happens that the boy takes the blame for to save the girl. Some asshole gets involved, in the douchebaggiest of ways. Relationship is saved.
You laugh now, but sis’s knowledge of K-Dramas is the only reason why we popped the Best Ending on the first try.
Me (Mitsuki)
You know how much of a relief it is for us to finally do a route that wasn’t all fluff or all drama? Both of us wanted a PBG kind of route: balanced in fluff and drama. Who knew that we just needed to suck it up, bite the bullet and just disappoint Mai this one time?
Perhaps due to the K-Drama aspect of it, the balance is actually in large extremes. The drama part of the route was SWINGING in drama: tension, yelling, crying, all the good stuff. Meanwhile, the fluff and lightheartedness was not only memorable, but hilarious even when we both predicted it was coming.
By the way, speaking of memorable, both of us spent an entire hour just going through the tea ceremony skit, just because we were way too immature to take tradition seriously. Somehow splash zones and mechs got involved.
After the negativity of Satch’s, and the exclusivity of Jirard’s and Jon’s, do you know how relieving it is to finally get another route that has some form of camaraderie going on with the club members? Seriously, the whole route focuses solely on friendships and self-image. Seeing Jared not only interact with other members of Normal Boots, but to even host a D&D campaign with most of the Hidden Block guys? He really does open himself to everyone!
And NO, Jared, don’t you be embarrassed about me dropping that. I’ve watched Critical Role. I wield some d20s of my own! ...I don’t actually have a D&D character, BUT SIS DOES. FIGHT HER.
Yes, even higher than PBG’s.
It’s probably due to the fact that the few times that he actually got angry were in scenarios that I actually agreed that he should be angry about, and the other times he actually seemed to WANT me to win the tournament, actively training me to help me win. He was probably thinking only about the club, but since he’s aware that me winning would’ve gotten me into the club, you would think he would try to sabotage my chances so that I don’t get in the club but we end up winning anyway. Nope~ you’re going on the up and up, Shane. Hopefully Paul’s route doesn’t kick you off this hill.
Or it’s probably due to the fact that two new assholes show up in this route that made me REAAAAAALLLLY angry. One COULDN’T STAY IN HER GODDAMN LANE, and the other one...well, let’s just say that if Jared ever wants to break up with Hana, his parting gift should be letting her get one good uppercut at the bitch. YOU DON’T SAY THAT SHIT TO HIM.
Seriously. There’s more weeb going on in this route than in Jirard’s, and we went to an actual convention then! D&D, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, the whole list goes on. I’m just sitting with sis rolling my d20s the whole time, trying to get just a tad nerdier for the route. We referenced mechs in every scene where we needed it, and before we knew it, me and sis were completely into the zone. The last time we were this engaged was with PBG’s. This is definitely one of the higher ranking routes.
Also, this route has a Fire Emblem: Awakening reference.
10/10 best route.
Sis (Shana)
Sis was probably the main reason why we were hesitant in pursuing this man. She loved PBG, was too broken from all the bitterness, and even with all that out of the way, we were too close to Mai to do that to her. We basically did this with the same amount of regret as Jon’s, but for different reasons.
So when we were midway through Chapter Two and realized that all the relationships were not only rather stable, but Mai seemed to genuinely get over her crush for Hana’s sake, we really started liking Hana and Jared together as a couple. It was a nice change of pace.
I swear to god this is true. The route where you’re dating some hot nerd who smells like ham is probably the best route to learn at least the basic aspects of handling a relationship. This is what I, one who was never in a relationship, was able to grab.
First aspect: communication. It’s honestly so relieving to see a relationship where people are actively bringing up problems to try and fix them ASAP. It really does add to the unpredictability of the route, as well as promote the image of a relationship that’s actually progressing. We actually started caring for this relationship, and even when we couldn’t catch what Hana liked in Jared, we believed her when she said she liked him enough to salvage the relationship. Major step up from Jon’s, I’ll tell you that much.
Second aspect: boundaries. You know how shocking it is to realize that the whole route is not going to completely drop all of Jared’s baggage at our feet? Hana never really tells Jared about her past, while we have to actively work for Jared to drop at least some basic hints at our feet, but never the big picture. In this route, there are just some secrets Jared has that Hana doesn’t need to know, and the Best End goes toward finding out which secrets to find out, and which secrets he should keep.
Like PBG’s route, this one focuses a bit on Mai’s love life as well. It also makes it blatant who exactly she shifted her attention to. For sis, this was great, meaning that she no longer has to feel guilty about romancing Jared. Plus, she ended up shipping those two once the credits rolled...but only in this route.
We ended up rewatching PBG’s Best End afterwards. Just because she wanted to go back into the PBG hole.
You know, speaking of which, I’m surprised that this is another route where we end up naked with these two guys.
PBG will never be dethroned in sis’s heart.
Final Review: Tamaki / 10
Yeah, they’re basically the same character: a womanizer that attracts a lot of women but would rather search for his companionship with the friends that he surrounds himself with. However, he has a crazy backstory that gains the sympathy of the poor protagonist, and the route/anime consists of wacky hi jinks while somehow telling a specific asshole from the past to kindly roll their way into the nine levels of hell, going through each level as a stopping point, until she’s completely deep fried for Satan to snack on while he’s winning that Poker hand with Hitler or something.
Like Tamaki, it was clear that Jared was hiding something, and I enjoyed the journey trying to slowly gain his trust and tell him that people don’t have to like him over self-image alone. It really made this route stand out from the others. I fought for this relationship and actively enjoyed it, instead of just floating to the Best End or suffering the entire way through. It’s the perfect balance, and if you’re only going to do one or two routes in the game, Jared’s is definitely a recommendation.
Jared, my man. You have officially been bumped up to 9.2/10. You get a -0.8 because the route wouldn’t allow me to punch the asshole. I wanted to punch that asshole straight into the sun.
Book Review: JonTron
Both of us didn’t have that high of expectations going into this route. Jon left us a rather bum impression that we decided to do this route after the utter candy that’s Jirard for a hard detox. Needless to say...well, let’s do the review.
...nope. Can’t do it. We need a mild spoiler warning on top of this review. I’ll try not to say specific story bits, but we’ll drop some plot points with no context.
Me (Mitsuki)
Not really a Spoiler but I’ll consider it one: this is a mourning route.
It does work for a visual novel route for character development, but when it takes up the entire route, it’s hard to figure out how this works romantically. I mean, the other one’s we’ve done so far have at least some rational way to get romantic.
Jirard is a simple “notice me, senpai” route.
PBG is a “senpai wants to be noticed” route.
Hell, even Satch’s route, as FUCKED UP as it could get to emotional trauma, can serve as a romantic hook, as the man who you love is the only one who believes you.
Here, Jon is mourning the entire time. And Hana is helping him out...while somehow this is romantic. I’ll let sis talk about the romantic stuff.
It’s basically Jon being overworked with both his stage play and the tournament, while hiding his mourning phase. Everything is played rather realistically: from the five stages of grief to even how to handle someone undergoing a panic attack. Sis was pleasantly surprised, though given how realistic some other elements in other routes were, we really shouldn’t have been.
Even more amazing is how they played with the tournament and the stage play. The whole point of the route was that even with the magical powers of the main character, we can’t pull miracles out of thin air.
~~THIS IS SPOILER STUFF~~
No matter what happens, Jon is always going to lose his section in the gaming tournament. There was just no time for him to practice while he’s dealing with the stage play. Instead, in order to determine if you’re going to at least get the Good Ending, you have to see whether or not Hana accepts Jon’s proposal in the stage play. If she takes it, you’re reached the Good/Best End. If she hasn’t, back away now, you’re at the Bad Ending.
This was something I had to admit that I really appreciated that we’ve obtained. It would have been so easy for Jon to get both an amazing play and a win at the tournament, giving us all of the happy-feels that all routes deserved. But that’s not Jon. Jon is hardcore reality and honesty. Sometimes you don’t grab all that you want. If there is any good thing I would say about this route, this would be one of them.
~~THIS IS THE END OF THE SPOILER STUFF~~
I mean, in terms of interacting with other members of Normal Boots, the only other one we had at least one decent conversation with was PBG, and that’s obvious because roommate, duh.
Yeah, yeah, it’s the same complaint as Jirard’s route, but there’s one thing that he had that Jon didn’t: a Hidden Block plot. I mean, I guess they couldn’t fit one in with the sheer amount of text they needed for Jon, but seeing as how Hidden Block served some form of big purpose in the other routes, it would’ve made sense for one of them to at least show up. I mean, he’s even one of the founders of the club! Would it not be crazy for Hidden Block to show up to make sure their main enemy was ready for a fight?
In terms of what happens plot wise in Jon’s route, it made sense and it made rational sense. It’s a guy who’s in mourning trying to overwork himself so that it never really sinks in that he needs to mourn in the first place. See? It makes perfect sense. Jon’s route sounds rational on paper.
No, it wasn’t the plot that was the problem...
...okay, that too. But it’s not the main problem.
I won’t spoil the exact reason why we think this, but just know that when the beginning issue happened, me and sis were screaming what we assumed was the solution during the entire second chapter. So when the tournament ended and THE EXACT SAME SOLUTION ended up presenting itself, we had to stop playing for a minute to comprehend how stupid we all have been acting.
We had to stop.
AT THE BEST ENDING.
Sis (Shana)
In her exact words: “my heart didn’t even dok.”
Yeah, that is the main problem that the both of us had. We spent the entire route not believing any hint of chemistry between Jon and Hana. In fact, this entire route would’ve been a bit more believable if this was the one platonic route out of the entire Normal Boots.
Heck, Satch had more believable chemistry than Jon did, and that was just as spontaneous of a romantic ending! It’s probably due to how the route was able to throw in some romantic hints between the constant feels bouncing off our face. Jon’s too busy having problems to start bringing up love!
For a route that doesn’t really have romantic chemistry, it’s also a route where an actual DATING PROCESS occurs. Like, we get asked out on a date, we actually talk about relationships, flowers, escorts, everything! Heck, it even shows that Jon doesn’t know how to romance at all, which might explain the lack of chemistry during the entire route. Maybe.
It’s a hearty attempt to be sure, and it probably would have worked. Probably.
...if it hadn’t been for this.
Yeah, as if sis didn’t fall deeper into the PBG fanclub, she’s clearly going now. Because throughout the entire route, PBG is working with Jon the same way Mai worked with Hana in Satch’s route. Which basically means that Hana and PBG are working behind everyone’s backs in order to take care of Jon, especially since as far as the Best Route is concerned, they’re the only two that know the truth besides Jon himself.
And the sheer amount of chemistry that they had between each other in the two or three scenes they had together was TRUCKLOADS more than the one the entire route obtained, and whatever effort they tried with Jon shattered whenever PBG was in the room.
At least, according to sis.
This is a dating sim visual novel after all, and chemistry is kind of needed in order for a dating sim to work. And Jon hasn’t really brought up the spark, even when the route tried to pick up the slack. Which sucks, because his honesty and bluntness actually do work well with Hana because it’s a route that doesn’t baby her, and we need a route like that.
It just...would’ve worked better platonically.
Total Attempts: 7 Final Review: Azama x Hinoka / 10
If you could consider the Jon route as a Support System, the C-A Supports were good to read. They built character and brought a general understanding of the two involved, and while the whole thing was rather cringe worthy, it was enough to give you a better appreciation. Until you reach the S-Rank, upon which the actual romance is forced, poorly written, and you kind of regret having done it.
Honestly, we don’t actually REGRET romancing Jon, that would be stupid. But the analogy works here. This route did wonders to Hana and Jon’s character developments. It showed just why Jon and Jacques were an amazing Asagao duo. It showed Hana being deeply affected by the tragedy, and why she connected with Jon so quickly after it happened. But just like Azama x Hinoka, the S-Support just felt tacked on and blech. 5/10 probably wouldn’t romance again. He’ll probably just end up being the least favorite route of Asagao.
We’re not quite sure which route we want to do next. I want to do Jared’s, sis wants to do Paul’s. We’ll figure out something later.
...until they have this weird time warp thing in the distant future where they’re all royalty or something and then some weird Chinese guy comes out of nowhere and steals the girl’s feathers or something because he had to tell time itself to forget that his wife died for a couple of centuries and ripped a whole in time and space so that she can fill in the void but instead it was filled by this Haberkorn guy and meanwhile the girl who got her feathers ripped out can’t human properly and so the boy has to jump through time and space accompanied by a black samurai and homosexual fodder in order to find all the feathers and apparently there are clones involved with this and stable time loops and
Just...don’t get into Tsubasa. For everyone’s sake.
Or just go on match.com or something.
Ohhhhhhhhhh. And here I was trying to remember if there was a Summoner’s Rift in Cardcaptor Sakura...

He also sounded like he knew how to human speak. Which means he knows basic communication. As the lack of evidence is shown in the poem.
Unless THAT was a lie as well.
Hey, that’s what I came up with as well! It looks like Hana is doing pretty well with both of us at the wheel.
...I don’t.
Yes. This extremely Japanese name of...peanut butter. Someone has to explain this to me how that works.
How the hell did this guy avoid eating ANYTHING with peanuts in it?
*sigh*
Hooray for break ups.
Look at this happy face, my god.
You know, I”m glad that we’re actually seeing a PBG that knows how to boundary and talk like a human being. I guess that once you get the burden of “lost childhood friend” off your chest, we can all have decent conversations.
Like, seriously. All those times that he was just STARING at us is now all gone~
This game is pushing it way too much into our face. PBG definitely didn’t write this. Especially since we’re still in our second chapter. No, this is as red of a herring as I’m ever going to see it.
Him, basically. He is six something, and you’re five two.
The answer is yes.
THE ANSWER IS YES.
And get drunk. Because soccer fans do that, right?
a.k.a an excuse to use THAT voice clip.
Yeah, it’s going to be amazing. You go and kick the ball, and I stay in the bleachers telling everyone on the opposite side of the field to kindly fuck off into the penalty zone.
Great day for soccer!
We say “break HIS leg. Multiple times. With your SHOES.”
*obligatory squeals for the day*
...do some vocal practices. Screaming is going to do a lot to me.
You shy little waffle.
Don’t you look that smug at me.
