âOh shiâshoot, come on Danny. Letâs get you to preschool before your mothers kill me. Come on, little dude.â Aria rushed him out the door and over to her car. Getting in, she got to the school. âJust on time.â She muttered as he got him out. // @secretsummerstartersâ
âHey, at least you made it.â He laughed, having been walking past on his way from work.
ezra--ryderâ:
âOh you know the usual. They fought and then decided to run.â
âUnlucky.â

Ever since being back, there was very little that Audrey did on her own. She wouldnât even sit with her back open to a room. She was constantly nervous and jittery. It was no wonder. Even right now she wasnât actually alone. Amanda was in her office and Audrey had said she would just stay here until either Amanda left or Ricky showed up. She had gone to the bar to order a drink and was now walking back toward her little booth in the corner. She noticed someone watching her and her heart did a panicked flip. She gave a small smile though and nodded. ââhiâŚâ she said quietly before sliding onto the bench and pushing herself against the wall.Â
âHey...â Mitch did his best to work up a reassuring smile. He hadnât meant to stare, itâs just that sheâd vanished and then he realised she was the one who had gone missing and now she was here again. âSorry.â He turned his attention back to his beer and his phone.

âUp for company?â
âIâm fine I swear. You should see the other guy.â // @secretsummerstartersâ
âWhat even happened?â
michelle--allenâ:
She nodded her head and looked over at him, â I do agree with you, itâs really a nice day. Iâm surprised we havenât gotten any snow yet.âÂ
âYeah, Iâm pretty surprise myself. Are you one of those hoping for a white Christmas or?â
caraxcookeâ:
Cara was sitting on a park bench, enjoying a nice hot chocolate as someone sat next to her. âIt really is, yeah. Especially for December,â she agreed before taking another sip.Â
âRight? Bit of good luck for once.â He chuckled, looking up at the sky. At least they werenât being battered by hailstones.
amanda--fordâ:
âUp to anything interesting?â Amanda sighed gently and gave a small shrug. âNot really. My boyfriendâs sister is missing and I just ridiculously keep calling her phone, hoping one of these times she will answerâŚâÂ
âNah, just.. work and looking after wee man over there.â He nodded his head towards Daniel playing with a little chuckle. Then he turned back to her with a frown. âShit, really? Like missing, missing or just dipped off the map?â

amanda--fordâ:
âI am seriously hoping youâve run away. If you could just text me⌠I promise not to be madâŚâ Amanda knew it was ridiculous to call and leave voicemails a week after, but she couldnât help it. She was hoping that one of these times Audrey would pick up the phone. She thought about Julianne and Imogen. She frowned. Why did things like this have to keep happening? She looked up when she heard him speak and forced a small smile. âHi, Mitch, long time no seeâŚâÂ
âYeah, been a while..â Mitch looked over at her with a light smile but it was clear to see that she was distracted or had something on her mind. âEverything alright?â
Mitch had been looking after Daniel while Brooke and Lauren had been away. He didnât know whether he should call Steph or leave her to it, since sheâd been so preoccupied with whatever she was doing. Heâd thought about trying to look for Audrey from the bar since heâd kind of enjoyed their conversation but he hadnât seen her around anywhere. He was in the park, pushing Brooklyn in the pram while watching his son playing with a friend a short distance away on the swings and such, chuckling to himself. He moved to sit down on a bench where someone already was sitting and glanced over at them, ever the friendly guy he was. âNice day, eh?â
audrey--hendersonâ:
Audrey grinned a bit and gave a small nod. âI can agree with you there. Limits, what are they?âÂ
He laughed, lifting his glass a little in a âcheersâ motion. âTo no limits!â
audrey--hendersonâ:
She smiled softly. âI donât drink a lot usually, but when I do it is certainly to excessâŚâÂ
âI do like a beer after work but yeah, Iâm pretty much the same these days. Not sure I know my limits.â He joked.
audrey--hendersonâ:
âOh, yes, pleaseâŚâ She smiled softly and pushed her glass across the counter. âI am bound determined to get very drunkâŚâ
Mitchell chuckled, ordering another round for them. âGirl after my own heart.â

audrey--hendersonâ:
Audrey gave a small laugh and shook her head. âI am sure thatâs not true. People are probably just too bitchy to tell you.âÂ
He chuckled, gesturing for the bartenders attention. âEh, I dunno about that.â He shrugged, glancing over at her while he waited for the bartender. âYou want another?â Mitch wondered, gesturing to her glass as he pushed his empty one across the bar.
audrey--hendersonâ:
She gave a small smile and took another generous drink from the glass. She glanced toward him and sighed. âThanks⌠you have succeeded in making me feel a little better.âÂ
Mitch laughed. âWell, youâre witnessing an historic moment then, itâs rare I manage that these days.â He joked, chuckling, though... it seemed like it was true most of the time. God, things werenât what they used to be. âBut Iâm glad.â
