Of course he doesnt mean to keep it up. But then things start to spiral, for the want of a nail style. Before long he’s back to his old ways, deploying dopplegangers (and actually using some of the old ones Jun Wu didn’t kill off) and infiltrating governments to investigate corruption, unblocking civil construction projects, punishing polluting landowners, etc. He’s not a “good guy,” they’re so far beyond that…but literally the entire Heaven has been overturned, who else is gonna help the orphans and poor families???? He’s actually an evil vengeful ghost so destroying the leeches stealing from the innocent is him being evil and dark and bad!!

Actual plot can happen here. Beefleaf would be fun, SQX championing a thing for the beggars and unknowingly starts working with one of HX’s dopplegangers, who seems oddly familiar.

Project Hail Mary edit because I had a 3am vision and decided to see where it went ^^

I went with the Passenger cover of the song rather than the David Bowie original purely because listening to the cover was what gave me the idea in the first place so it felt right

It's been a long time since I last touched any kind of video editing software so I was very rusty

This video took me about 7 hours spread throughout 2 days to make

At some point during those 7 hours I got tired of trying to match each scene transition to the beat, so if you notice any that don't match, no you don't ^^

I was actually surprised by how well the movie scenes fit with the song. Like, in my head they did, but I wasn't sure if they would irl

Hardest line to find a match for was the "tell my wife I love her very much" one. In the end I decided to go with Grace and Rocky's goodbye before the leak. My other option for that line was the scene at the end with Stratt watching the logs on the boat just because the idea made me laugh

I'm stupidly proud of the match up of "the papers want to know whose shirt you wear" with the scene of Grace looking at his "element of surprise" shirt

Surprisingly, I had kind of a hard time finding scenes with both Grace and Rocky in focus at the same time. Like, they're there, but in my mind there were a lot more

I wanted to put the lyrics on the video also but I just didn't know how and was too tired to look it up, sorry

I first found scenes for every line of the song and then as I was organizing them I remembered there are a couple of instrumental breaks I had nothing for and panicked :P If those parts seem rougher than the rest, that's why
