Not every human was entirely aware of the sins of their brethren, although that doesn’t excuse the species as a whole, it just offered reasons as to why someone might be a little careless when traversing territories. 

There was a blonde human walking through a forest without paths, although unseen to the mortal eye, he had a very dark and toxic aura, this aura might be the reason why he was getting so close to the magical barrier that wasn’t seen to the mortal eye. He doesn’t seem aware of it, nor bothered by it when an odd chill of magic rushes over him because he stepped through it, the disgusting aura allowing him to do so. Despite the odd brief chill, the human hesitates and seems to not mind, before a rare sight of a pokemon flutters after him through the barrier– a Togekiss, one that seems fluffier and more wild than their modern day counterparts. It was odd enough for humans and pokemon to travel together, let alone without chains or any sign of brutalism. But … the odd aura should’ve scared the Togekiss off– they were good, magical omens, rarely seen and far in-between. 

Despite everything, when they caught up to eachother, the dark-aura human and the magic-bound fairy carry on side-by-side, unknowingly getting closer and closer to a hidden village.

“No, I smell it too, it smells like charcoal.” The human spoke audibly to his fairy, causing her to bristle her feathers before chirping happily. 

A dense mist starts to envelop the traveler, making it hard to see anything beyond. At the same time, the temperature drops suddenly, making the surroundings colder. A rush of wind starts hitting the human and his Pokémon and there is a faint sound in the distance, something like a whisper that at first it’s not distinguisable from the whispers of the wind, but it starts to get louder and it starts to sound like a mysterious chant, silent words echoing in the human’s mind.

“Begone.... Intruders....”

Nothing can be seen among the dense mists and the chant gets louder as the winds and mists intensify all around the traveler, making it hard to continuing going further.

• I’m also totally Multiverse friendly! Since my Pokeuniverse is an alternate timeline and it’s canon now that there are multiple timelines in the Pokemon universe, I’m open to exploring this concept further!

• If I follow you, it means I am interested in interacting with you, however, I may be too shy to make the first approach. Don’t ever be afraid of hitting me up on my IMs if you want to interact. I also have a tendency to like posts to either let you know I’ve read it or simply to let you know I like your content. But if this bothers you for some reason, just tell me and I’ll stop.

• I am open to interacting with everyone! Even if we’re not mutuals, you can still try to talk to me and send me starters or plot ideas. Since RPing is just for fun, I don’t wanna be too choosy with whom I interact with, however, respect is the most important thing! Please respect my rules and headcanons. If I don’t follow back or unfollow, it does not mean I don’t want to be friends or interact with you. It just means I’m trying to keep my dash more organized.

• I WON’T, IN ANY WAY interact with you if you’re racist, homophobic, transphobic, acephobic, arophobic, nazi apologist, antisemitic, misogynist or carry any other kind of prejudice or hatred towards any certain group of people. Hate of any kind won’t be tolerated here.

• About shipping: For now I don’t plan or shipping her with anyone else, so I want to focus on other kinds of relationships with other muses. I am very open to discussing other non-romantic relationships such as friendships, found family, platonic, rivals, enemies, etc, just pop in my IMs and we can discuss it! Also, flirting with Circe is allowed! I think some hilarious situations can be born from this! Just don’t try to force a ship on me, that’s not cool.

• Activity: I may not be as active as I have other blogs here and also a social life outside Tumblr. You can remind me sometimes, but please don’t keep pestering me about it as it can make me feel nervous and it can take all the fun out of RPing.

• About writing styles: I’m okay with any kind of writing! One-liners, paras, icons, no icons, everything’s fine to me. While I’ll always try to match your length, you don’t need to do the same to me since I can write a lot when I feel really inspired, so don’t worry about matching my length, but please give me something to work with! If I write in paragraphs, don’t answer with a one-liner because that won’t give me much to work with and I’ll think all my efforts at writing will be in vain, so please be sensible about that.

• This blog is heavily based on my own headcanons about Pokémon, seeing as I don’t accept everything that is in canon and I had my own Pokéverse that I developed for years, so I ask that you please respect it and don’t try to “correct” me into acting according to canon. I will NEVER try to force my headcanons on you, but I ask that you at least respect them. And it’s okay if you don’t like my headcanons or don’t agree with them. Just please don’t be rude about it, everyone is free to have their own interpretations. If you don’t like my headcanons, world-building and my character’s story, you’re not obligated to follow or interact. Just please don’t tell me how I should write my own character and my own story or you’ll be blocked.

• Plotting is welcomed and encouraged. Please send me an ask or IM, I will gladly respond!

• Please, reblog memes, musings PSAs and etc FROM THE SOURCE!!! Unless the source is unavailable, of course. It kinda clogs my notifications and it’s also a bit disappointing to see a notification expecting a reply to see you just reblogged a meme/psa from me. I’m not a meme source.

• Personals: You are free to follow me as long as you respect my rules, however, I’ll only follow back RP Blogs to keep my dash clean and easier to deal with. Don’t reblog my threads! This can be very annoying for me and my rp partners, so if you like a thread, just click the like button, but don’t reblog it! You are also free to interact with my character by sending asks! Asks are always welcome, but please be respectable when you send them. If I receive offensive ones, I’ll block you.

• About grammar: I also don’t like bad grammar and bad writing. I’m not a native english speaker, but I’ll always try to write in the best way I can. I may commit some errors once in a while though (since english is not my native language) but you can always point me out about it!

• About SMUT and NSFW: I won’t be rping smut and explict scenes. I’m asexual and sexually repulsed, so don’t expect sexual themes to appear here. Sexual jokes or innuendos for comedy purposes, however, are allowed, as long as they’re MODERATED.

Other such topics in relation to NSFW like violence and anything non-smut is welcomed on this blog though as long as it’s not too graphic. Dark themes such as angst, death and suicide might be present, but trigger warnings will be tagged like this: ____ tw. Feel free to tell me if you want me to tag anything specific as a tw.

As for myself, I don’t have triggers per se, but there are things I feel uncomfortable with and I’d like for them to be tagged. They include: explicit smut, incest (even between adopted siblings), pedophilia, rape, zoophilia, necrophilia, explicit and heavily detailed gore, irl images of cockroaches and other insects, irl images of gore and rotting corpses, eye gore, throat slash and beheading so I’d like to have those things tagged for me.

Also this blog may contain swearing and curse words occasionally (not all the time though), so be warned.

• Muse ≠ Mun. The muse’s actions/thoughts/opinions do not equal mine! If my character is being rude, this does not mean I want to be rude to you! This is just how the character may react to some things.

• About threads: I don’t mind having multiple threads going on, but I might be slow to get a track of all of them (I do have other blogs and a personal life too!) but don’t me afraid to remind me if I forgot to answer a thread (just don’t annoy me everyday about it) Also, sometimes, I might not be so inspired for a specific thread as I might be for others, but don’t feel offended about that! Sometimes I can take longer to reply because I want my reply to be very good and most of the time I’m self-concious about my writing. Also, if you want to drop a thread for any reason, don’t be afraid to tell me so. I may also drop some threads occasionally without a warning because I’m either:

1. I ran out of ideas and don’t know how to reply to it or

2. It stayed too long in my drafts and I feel guilty of replying to it or

3. I may just have missed it.

If you still want to continue any dropped threads, don’t be afraid to tell me so! Just ask me and we can discuss about it.

• About Battle Threads: I can write battle threads, but I’m really bad at writing fights. So if you want a battle thread, please contact me first so we can discuss things and make things easier for both of us!

• Please, try keeping me out of drama. I’m here to RP and have fun with friends, not to be stressed.

• If I upset you for any reason, talk to me OOC about it. I have no way of knowing what I did wrong if you don’t tell me, but please be mature when doing so. I am very diplomatic and open to constructive criticism! But just don’t start a huge drama about it or I’ll just end up blocking you instead. I really like to talk and I’m not a perfect person either, I can commit mistakes so, if I did something that upsets you, just come talk to me and we’ll solve issues together.

Appearance:

She’s a Delphox with Hisuian Zoroark colors. Her fur is more flowing and wispier, giving her a more unnatural appearance. The tips of her ears, tail, cheeks, ear tufts and shoulders are red, with the tips of her fur “skirt” and ”sleeves” being white, with her paws and legs being dark grey. She is tall, slender and graceful. Sometimes she is seen around wearing a dark cloak and a pointy black witch hat, along with some amulets around her neck.  

In her ghost/spirit form, she is translucent and intangible. She doesn’t have feet and floats, but can still use some ghost-type moves on other Pokémon and hostile people who threatens those she protects.

Powers/Abilities:

Telepathy: She can speak to humans using her psychic powers, reaching into their minds and transmiting her thoughts through a psychic link with the receiver. Because of this, she is also able to read minds, but she doesn’t do that often as she doesn’t like to pry on other’s thoughts.

Fire Manipulation: Being a fire-type Pokémon, she can naturally manipulate flames and is resistant to it.

Psychic Powers: Being half-psychic type, she is also capable of telekinesis, visions of the future and other such powers related to the mind.

Healing: Being a witch, she has a natural knowledge of healing herbs and potions and makes them to help heal injured Pokémon and people she finds lost in her forest.

Magic Knowledge: Being a witch, she has a vast knowledge of Magic and can use a variety of magic spells and enchantments.

Illusion: Due to her Zoroark heritage, she is able to cast illusions, perfecting them with the help of magic spells to make them look more real. She usually hides her identity with Illusions when walking amongst humans, since Pokémon who are able to speak are persecuted.

Connection to the spiritual realm: Being half-Hisuian Zoroark, she is able to see and communicate with spirits of the deceased. She also has a sort of resistance to ghost-types, despite her psychic typing.

Personality:

Circe is usually calm and reserved, sometimes even a bit shy. She also tends to remain positive, even in the darkest of situations. She is very selfless and caring and wouldn’t hesitate to put her life on the line for those she cares about, putting the safety of others before her own. She will go to great lengths to ensure the happiness of those around her. Circe is sympathetic and sensitive to other’s feelings. She’s also creative and imaginative. She’s a natural dreamer who may be readily persuaded to pursue unrealistic objectives or ideals even when others can see that she should be following a more rational route.

She’s also very curious and loves to learn about new things. She’s also kind of a bookworm and loves to study, which helped her become a formidable witch.

Bio/Backstory:

Early Life

Circe was born roughly 300 years ago to a Delphox mother, Cerridwen, and a Hisuain Zoroark father, Mowdred, in a region called Almes. She, along with her sister, Dahlia, were adopted into their mother’s coven and assigned as familiars to a human witch partner. Circe was partnered to a witch named Evanora and the two became great friends. During her childhood growing up in the coven, she befriended another familiar Pokémon of her coven, an Abra named Gwydion. The two grew up together and evolved together, often training their magic and battle skills, as well as getting into lots of trouble, which led them to have developed a very strong bond.

Being a very blatant hybrid was always something that brought attention towards her. Her “exotic” looks would gather attention from people and Pokémon around her, something that always made her wonder what kind of Pokémon her father really was, especially since her sister, Dahlia, looked more like a regular Fennekin. She’d listen to her mother’s stories about her father with great curiosity and interest, prompting her to actually go on a secret trip to find him one day.

The Almes Witch Hunts

During her time period, humans started to become very supertitious towards magic users and certain kinds of Pokémon. Even a Pokémon who was able to communicate with humans somehow (through telepathy or other means) was considered a demon and hunted down. The witch hunts began and many people and their Pokémon were accused and sentenced to death by the Inquisition. Most of these targets, however, were women and that also included the Delphox species, as it was believed only females inherited the magical power (though not exactly true, as males can also wield magic, though females tend to be more powerful in it.) Because of the witch hunts, many female Delphoxes were killed and the females of the species were nearly going extinct, which is why modern-day Fennekin gender percentage has more males than females.

In these turbulent times, Circe and her coven had to live on the run, though one day they were caught by the local townsfolk and most of the witches, wizards and their familiars were executed, including Circe’s mother and her witch partner, Evanora.

The only few survivals of her coven included Gwydion, now an Alakazam and her sister, Dahlia. Tired of witnessing people and Pokémon dying, she started to help as many as she could, rescuing familiar Pokémon, but mostly the female Delphoxes, from the Inquisition.

The founding of the hidden village of Hope

In a desperate attempt to save the females of her species, along with the other persecuted Pokémon of the time, Gwydion and Circe came up with the idea of founding a hidden village for the few remaining magic Pokémon. They called it Hope, as a last hope for the few remaining magic Pokémon. The village was protected by magic and could only be found by other Pokémon.

Since humans couldn’t find the village, they sent a Lucario named Taliesin to search for it. Taliesin, being a Lucario and having the natural ability of telepathy, thus making him a potential target, joined the humans’ side as a way to protect himself from the witch trials, having to hide his natural telepathy and behaving more like a hound dog. Taliesin found Circe and chased her, but upon meeting her, he couldn’t bring himself to hand her over to the humans. He eventually decided to join her and help her save the other persecuted Pokémon. The two eventually fell in love with each other and became a couple, much to Gwydion’s sadness as he was secretly in love with Circe since they were children but never had the courage to tell her his feelings until it was too late.

Taliesin and Circe had a daughter, whom they named Cyra. But just as it seemed everything was alright, the humans managed to find the village with the help of other Pokémon and they had to run again. Circe was ambushed by a pack of houndooms and just when the humans were about to capture her, Gwydion appeared to save her, but in the battle he was terribly injured by a human spear. She managed to take him away, but his injuries were too severe. As he was dying, Gwydion declared his love for Circe and she cried, for he had never told her before.

With Gwydion’s death, she became even more determined to save the rest of the persecuted Pokémon and went to find another safe place for the hidden village.

Dahlia’s Betrayal

Gwydion’s death left more scars than it seemed, however. Circe’s sister, Dahlia, had always been envious of her sister for being such a beautiful hybrid while Dahlia looked more like her mother, a regular Delphox. And she was also in love with Gwydion, but her feelings were unreciprocated, as he loved Circe. But Dahlia blamed Gwydion’s death on Circe, as he had sacrificed himself to save her. Filled with envy, she ended up informing the humans about the hidden village’s location in exchange for her own salvation. The humans then invaded the village once again with Dahlia leading them and manage to capture Circe. Circe, however, begged Taliesin to run with their daughter and not try to save her, as she didn’t want them to die like Gwydion. Heartbroken, Taliesin did as she asked and ran away with their daughter, leaving Circe at the humans’ mercy.

Execution and Legacy

Circe was then taken away for the trial. She begged Dahlia for help but found out that her sister was actually the responsible for the attack on the village because of envy and to save her own skin. But unfortunately for Dahlia, the humans turned on her and sentenced both sisters to death. Dahlia questioned them why they were doing this and the humans replied that she was still a witch and thus deserved to die and she couldn’t buy her salvation simply by denouncing the others. Both sisters were tied to rocks and thrown in a river to drown.

Taliesin, who managed to escape with the other Pokémon, founded a new hidden village and raised Cyra with the other few survivors, which included more female Delphoxes. The village managed to survive this time and it’s still hidden from humans thanks to the protection spell. The village of New Hope now serves as a sanctuary for all the remaining magic Pokémon, but mostly to the Delphox species.
