SIMS 3 REMIXED LEPacy CHALLENGE!
Hi everyone!
As someone whose been playing the Sims 3 for over 14 years, I know the redundancy simmers face when playing the game for long stretches! And with the inspiration of the well-loved Legacy challenge, and the Lepacy challenge by Dollybats, I have modified it to be even more challenging, story driven! I hope this ignites your spark like it did with me! This challenge is EXTENSIVE, and designed to be interactive and modified to your personal gameplay style, while also making you try new careers, goals, traits, etc. within the game that maybe you haven’t played with, avoid playing with. This challenge will be different every time you play it and different to any others who play it. Since this challenge is highly interactive, you will need several tools before you start your challenge, these tools include;
A sheet of paper
A writing tool
A 6 sided dice

Okay enough of that, here are the general rules;
No use of cheats unless explicitly stated
Each generation follows the 12 expansion packs released for the Sims 3.
Only 1 heir per generation! You cannot switch them, however, if an heir dies, a family member can take over.
Unlike the original legacy challenge, you can move to different lots within your world, but do not change worlds unless needed to.
Each generation has a theme, stick to it! It makes the game fun!
You cannot use the Inheritance lifetime reward! I know this is lowkey crazyyyyyy work but trust me! The harder the challenge the more fun it is!!!!!!! (this is flexible!)
Each generation has a broad storyline, and has generation specific rules, make sure to read the rules for each generation very carefully as rules in some generations may not apply in others.
This is optional: at the end of each generation, throw a huge party to celebrate the end of the generation, I personally like to do this and I have fun with it!
At the start of each new generation, you are required to move towns, you are allowed (encouraged!) however, you must start each generation with only the heir sim in your household, unless otherwise specified.
This challenge is very indepth, I aimed at exploring everything included in the expansion packs, making each generation longer and harder (lol) to complete. In regards to this, setting your sims lifespans to ‘long’ will make sure you have adequate time to finish each task in every generation. Here are my personal settings:
LifeSpan set to “long”
Baby: 10 days
Toddler: 15 days
Child: 20 days
Teenager: 28 days
Young Adult: 41days
Adult: 37 days
Elder: 42 days.
Seasons are set: (depending on the town, for desert towns, or tropical towns, only seasons spring and summer are turned on.)
Summer: 17 days
Spring: 10 days
Fall: 10 days
Winter: 12 days
Generation one: Base Game
Recommended town: Sunset Valley
Welcome to the most iconic world of the franchise, Sunset Valley! With its small-town feel, this is the perfect world to have your sim start out in!
Create-A-Sim:
Lets start your LEPACY challenge in create a sim, obviously…
Grab a piece of paper (irl..)
Grab a dice, or google “roll a dice” to have the web do it for you. (6 sided dice)
Now, your sim will be created based on the numbers you roll… ok lets go
Start with one sim, at the young adult lifespan.
Name: arguably the MOST important, this sets the tone for your gameplay!
Get your dice out! Roll twice to get the letters for your sims first and last name, (ex. I rolled a 5, so I can pick either E,K,Q,W for my sims first name, I rolled a 1 next, so I can pick a last name that starts with A,G,M,S,Y) or, if you want to challenge yourself further, you can roll once and pick a first and last name that starts with the same letter.
1 = A, G, M, S, Y 2 = B, H, N, T, Z 3 = C, I, O, U 4 = D, J, P, V 5 = E, K, Q, W 6 = F, L, R, X
Hair:
1: blonde
2: brown
3: black
4: red head (gotta rep)
5: any unnatural color (pink,blue,green,etc.!)
6: simmers pick!!!! (pick a good one)
Gender:
1,5 : Female
2,6: Male
3,4: Simmers pick!
Traits:
For the traits section were going to do it a bit differently, now this wouldn’t be a challenge unless you were actually moving outside your simming comfort zone…. So:
Trait 1: Simmers pick!
Trait 2: a trait you rarely/never choose.
Trait 3,4,5: roll the dice! If you get a trait that is incompatible, roll again!
Lifetime Wish:
For your lifetime wish, I want you to go ahead with whatever the game has assigned your sim with, in response to the traits you’ve rolled.
All other CAS customization is up to you! have fun with your randomized heir!
MOVING IN & BEYOND:
Now that your sim is ready to hit the town;
Move into any EMPTY lot. (choose wisely, your heir will only be allowed to move when allowed as per the rules of this generation)
After moving into your empty lot, use the familyfunds cheat to set your household funds to $1,300, or if you wanna be hardcore, start with 0. Use this to furnish your home with whatever you’d like.
Based on the traits of your heir, choose a Base game career that you feel like suits them and their vibe. The list of base game careers follows:
Business
Culinary
Criminal
Education
Journalism
Law enforcement
Medical
Military
Music
Political
Science
Professional Sports
Meet and befriend 3 sims, hangout with these friends often at the park, beach or bar (you will have to add it into your world.)
meet and start dating an iconic townie! You can meet this person either at a community lot or at work. You CANNOT go to this sims house to meet them; you must meet organically. (you can date multiple sims)
At level three of your career, you can get engaged! Befriend 10 sims to atleast a ‘good friend’ level to secure those wedding gifts.
At level four, you can get married, however, you must have a functional home to have your spouse to move into (they deserve the best, don’t they?), a functional home includes:
4 walls and a roof.
A separated bathroom space that includes a: sink, toilet and shower.
Double bed
Kitchen
At level five of your career, you can start to have children! For generation 1; you can only have 3 children. In the odd case that you accidentally have an extra child, delete it. (Nah jk, but fr if you manage to have more than 3, you must fine your household $3k.)
After your second child is born, you may move to another lot, however you must build the home yourself on an empty lot.
Master 3 skills.
Own or partner with 4 businesses
Become enemies with one of your old friends.
Maintain excellent relationships with your children and spouse
When your third kid ages up to a child, you may move again, into any lot you wish.
Take every skill class available
Visit every community lot once.
Complete your lifetime wish or Career.
Once you’ve completed all the required tasks, its time to pick an heir and move on to the next generation! You can either choose to follow the order of expansions listed below, or you can roll the dice and let the universe choose for you! (use 2 dice for this as there are 12 expansion packs.)

This mod contains two new interactable objects: a pottery wheel and kiln.
Ceramics can be crafted on the wheel, and then fired in the kiln with a chosen glaze.
As Sims level up, they unlock more ceramics to craft.

🎒🚌School Responsibilities Mod 🚌🎒
🍎This mod adds more realistic schoolwork responsibilities for child and teen Sims. Instead of school performance being based mostly on regular homework, students can now receive extra assignments after school that must be completed at home before the next school day.
🍎These assignments include studying for tests, writing book reports, completing Home Economics projects, and completing Art class projects. Studying can be completed on the computer or via the homework book. The mod is designed to make children and teens feel more like active students with school obligations outside of the classroom.
🍎Completing assignments improves school performance, while ignoring them lowers school performance.
How Assignments Work
🍎Each child or teen student has a chance to receive one school assignment after school.
🍎By default, the mod checks for assignments between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
🍎Each selectable child or teen has a 60% chance per Sim day to receive one assignment. A Sim can only have one active assignment at a time.
🍎Assignments are due the next school day. The Sim will not immediately receive a grade result after completing the work. Instead, the result is processed after the Sim arrives at school the next day.
Assignment Types
The mod can assign four types of school responsibilities:
🍎Tests
Students may be assigned a test and must study before school the next day.
🖍️Children may receive tests in:
Math
Science
Literature
History
🖍️Teens may receive tests in:
Algebra
Calculus
Biology
World History
To complete a test assignment, click the Sim’s homework book or a computer and choose the study interaction under the School Responsibilities menu.
🍎Book Reports
🖍️Students may be assigned a book report that must be written at home.
🖍️Children receive shorter book reports with lighter topics.
🖍️Teens receive longer and more dramatic book reports inspired by funny real-life 2000s movie-style themes, such as popularity drama, sparkly vampires, pirates, teen romance, dance battles, and school hallway chaos.
🖍️To complete a book report, click the Sim’s homework book or a computer and choose the book report interaction under the School Responsibilities menu.
🍎Home Economics Projects
🖍️Students may be assigned a Home Economics project.
🖍️The assignment notification will tell the player that the Sim needs to cook something at home and bring food to school in their inventory.
🖍️To complete the project, the Sim should cook food at home and have the finished food in their inventory before going to school the next day.
🖍️If the Sim arrives at school with food in their inventory, the project should count as completed.
🍎Art Projects
🖍️Students may be assigned an Art class project.
🖍️The assignment notification will tell the player that the Sim needs to paint something and bring the finished painting to school in their inventory.
🖍️To complete the project, the Sim should create a painting and have the finished painting or canvas in their inventory before going to school the next day.
🖍️If the Sim arrives at school with an art project in their inventory, the project should count as completed.

Their school performance increases.
🖍️If the assignment was not completed
The Sim receives a negative notification saying they failed the test, forgot the project, or did not turn in the assignment.
Their school performance decreases.
Fun Motive Changes
Like real life, schoolwork reduces Fun while the Sim is actively working.
🖍️Default Fun reductions:
Studying for tests: small Fun decrease
Child book reports: moderate Fun decrease
Teen book reports: slightly stronger Fun decrease
Home Ec and Art projects: small Fun decrease
This is meant to make school responsibilities feel like work without heavily punishing the Sim.
Assignment Frequency
🍎 By default, each child or teen student has a 60% chance per day to receive one school responsibility assignment.
🖍️The possible assignment types are weighted like this:
45% chance the assignment is a test
30% chance the assignment is a book report
13% chance the assignment is a Home Ec project
12% chance the assignment is an Art project
🖍️Since the daily assignment chance is 60%, the real daily chances are approximately:
27% chance of a test
18% chance of a book report
7.8% chance of a Home Ec project
7.2% chance of an Art project
40% chance of no assignment
These values can be adjusted in the tuning file which will be provided separately with this mod in xml format.
Tips:
For relaxed gameplay, leave the assignment chance at 60% or lower it to 30–40%.
For stricter school gameplay, increase the assignment chance to 80–100% and increase the performance penalty for missed work.
Important Gameplay Notes
The mod only assigns school responsibilities to child and teen Sims who are enrolled in school.
Boarding school Sims are ignored.
Non-selectable Sims are ignored by the assignment generator.
Assignment results are only processed when the Sim is at school.
A Sim cannot receive a new assignment while they already have an active assignment.
The mod does not replace regular homework. Regular homework still works normally.

❤️Here is the first version of the New Parents mod, I hope you guys enjoy it!
❤️The New Parents Mod adds more realistic pregnancy family-planning gameplay to The Sims 3. Sims can talk about starting a family, react emotionally to pregnancy news, discuss baby names, plan baby showers, ask loved ones to be godparents, involve children in the pregnancy, and host gender reveals.
Fathers and partners can react positively or negatively to pregnancy news. Some Sims may be excited to become parents, while others may feel overwhelmed, unsure, or scared. Prior family-planning conversations can affect how Sims react later if pregnancy happen❤️New Interactions:
Discuss Starting a Family
Tell About Pregnancy
Positive or negative pregnancy reactions
Relationship gains or losses based on reactions
Pregnancy-related buffs for both parents

❤️How to Use
Click on another Sim and open:
New Parents…
From there, choose the interaction you want.
Use Discuss Starting a Family before pregnancy to set the tone for future reactions.
Use Tell About Pregnancy when a Sim is pregnant to trigger emotional reactions and buffs.
Use Plan Baby Shower while a Sim is pregnant to choose a location, guests, time, and outfit style.
Use Discuss Baby Names while pregnant to generate one boy name and one girl name suggestion.
Use Ask to Be Godmother/Godfather on adult Sims.
Use Ask to Guess the Baby’s Gender before cutting the gender reveal cake.
Place the Gender Reveal Cake and click it to use Cut Gender Reveal Cake. A popup will reveal whether the baby is a boy or girl.
Baby Showers last for 4 hours. Guests will bring gifts in the form of cash.
