i love him. and he very much earned his tony. and he decided to use his acceptance speech to advocate for people who need their voices. and that’s fucking beautiful.

and the fact that the lost boys account uploaded his speech and then proceeded to take it down… how other’s in the industry are trying to censor his speech…

that’s fucking crazy.

to my knowledge (and by my knowledge i mean what i’ve seen of him) ali is a person who has always spoken his mind about matters, it’s not new! we can allow scott rudin, an abuser, win tony’s and continue his work and yet we silence the voice of someone who wants to advocates for those who are voiced to be silent.

fucking insane.

and i would like to preface, i’m not here to be political! because everyone does have and is entitled to their opinions! the content of his speech could upset people, what he supports and speaks for could upset people, because we are all entitled to what we believe. but it’s the censorship that is truly disgusting to me.
