To begin with... Shelby is definitely the person I love most in this world, and I swear on everything that is holy that I never thought I would say that. She has this way about her that I can't explain... Some might even say she's boring, but the truth is that her petty personality matches mine perfectly, and that's why I'm crazy about her.
For a while, I swore I hated her; but the truth is, I enjoyed spending my time with her more than anything. We despised each other so much, always mocking each other's behavior, even so, I felt the need to be near her. At first, I thought it was just because I wanted to provoke her, but in reality I felt a magnetism between us, something that always drew me back to her.
When I finally accepted my feelings, I talked to Rory and we ended our marriage peacefully, and we remained friends. He was a good partner, but he wasn't him. I needed her. So, I embarked on a mission to try and flirt with the woman of my dreams, just like we did at the mansion. The timing was perfect; she and Matty were already finalizing their divorce, and now there wouldn't be any more husbands in my way.
To speed things up, here we go; Shelby and I got closer and closer until we started having an affair. That was the best decision of my whole life, and now I wake up next to her every day.
Shelby, I love you so much, my love. Even though you're American and sometimes a bit dramatic, I love you more than anything. π€
