Two different scenarios: What if just one of them ran away, and what if they all ran away together?

It’s because my brain decided to write a fanfiction that is canon divergent where, after Ceels’ first attempt, one of the sisters decide they run away. It’d be fun to know how you see it!!! Who would have the idea? How would they orchestrate it? (I already have most of it planned out, I just am curious for others’ canon divergence, lol.)

Hi there !! That's a pretty interesting concept, now that you mention it. We were very close to it being canon lol since the narrators thought they'd be helping the Lisbon girls run away

I'm going to write for each girl separately, then i'm going to include all of them:

Cecilia decides to run away after her attempt fails. She can't bear having everyone treat her like she's made of glass, all while silently blaming her for everything at the same time. She doesn't even make any preparations - she just conveniently disappears after Sunday mass. She'd wander around, directionless and with no set destination in mind, and would probably end up lingering near the highway. One of the passing drivers would eventually recognize her as the girl from the milk cartons.

Lux decides to run away after her mother made her burn half of her records. She fears that she's going to suffocate if she stays in that house any longer. She grabs whatever things remained from her comfort zone; her favourite shirts, lipstick, half-burnt rock albums and cigarettes. She sneaks out of her bedroom in the middle of the night and resorts to hitchhiking. She'd probably manage to get far enough from her hometown and end up at some desolate gas station, where the cashier instantly recognizes as a teenage runaway.

Bonnie decides to run away after prom goes wrong. Her divine intuition tells her that something terrible is going to happen and she has to get out. She's bad at hiding her intentions from her hawk-eyed family, but she manages to sneak out right before bed check. She's already paranoid enough about walking around town in the middle of the night, so she has a complete mental breakdown when she realizes that she's gotten lost. Thankfully, she didn't get too far. Father Moody finds her sobbing by the entrance of the church and he's able to calm her down.

Mary decides to run away after her attempt fails. She has no home to return to, no living sisters to speak of and no hope for the future. She stuffs her suitcase full of her favourite clothes and some of her sisters' belongings. She tracks down her prom date and begs him to drive her out of town. Naturally, a pair of rowdy teenagers driving like maniacs is hard to miss. They're stopped by police a few miles out of town and are returned home just as quick.

Therese decides to run away after her mother doubles down on their isolation. She won't allow this prison to rob her of her bright future. She prepares meticulously, packing all of her necessities and mapping out her course of action. She sneaks out of the sewers like that mafioso kid and heads straight for the bus station. Her plan is flawless but... the guilt catches up to her. She turns back the moment she's about to board the bus and heads home.

Now, what if they all ran away together?

Lux would come up with the idea after Cecilia returns from the hospital, Mary would agree right away, Bonnie would be a bit hesitant before eventually caving in and Therese would be the brain of the operation.

They'd contact those awkward boys that seem to be fixated on them and ask them for help. They'd pack their stuff in suitcases and hide them in the bushes. On a Thursday morning like any other, they'd leave for school as normal, only to grab their bags and take a detour from school.

Sera is beyond flattered. Painting your beloved is quite the traditional courting ritual, after all. If she's not too busy, she's more than happy to sit still and let you recreate her image. She can't help but feel amazed by the result. Her little dove never fails to surprise her. What's that? You want to draw her biblically accurate form too? She's not sure if your mortal eyes will be able to handle it though...

Ayano, Ryoba, Kataba and Hiki are delighted. That's your child now. They don't even mind that they're not biologically related to it - it's like adoption to them. They go out to buy a bunch of stuff for the kid; clothes, toys, milk bottles, parenting books... literally, ultra domestic mode.

Dozuki and Kugi don't take it very well. You can't just show up with a literal child like that! They refuse to look after the baby for the first few days but eventually, they warm up to it. Fine, they suppose you can keep it.

Azebiki is intrigued. This is the perfect opportunity to put all those parenting books she read to use! She's very careful when handling the baby; always speaking calmly, picking nutritional baby food, playing classical music at night...

This is basically Spoiled!Reader with a twist lol but having no awareness of your social class/financial background is another level of ragebait

Kuroko just sighs and fixes her glasses. She can't believe your family's networth is in the billions and you're acting like it's no big deal. She probably forces you to take a bunch of economics classes to better manage your future inheritance.

Akane finds it adorable. You're like a princess in her tower; unaware of how the outside world sees you. She tries to tell you in the most polite way possible that not everyone is as privileged as you and that you need to be a little more careful.

Aoi can't help but feel annoyed. How can you be so ignorant of your own worth? At least little miss Saikou is making proper use of her position. She wants to grab you by the shoulders and shake you until you snap out of it (Arctic Monkeys ref).

Shiromi lets you be. She wants to see how far you can go with that kind of ignorant mindset. She lingers nearby, a bucket full of popcorn tucked in her arms, ready to nurse your wounds when your ass gets humbled.

Meanwhile Reader looks absolutely innocent and like a sunshine in human form, including a smile that people swear can blind you.

People are however confused why Osoro seem to be limping as of late, and those strange bruises on her neck...

Damn, okay then 0_0 sweet yet sadistic Reader, i got ya

No one knows how or why it happened, but you're dating Osoro Shidesu. You know... the leader of the delinquents?? Dating a girl who loves hello kitty and whose default expression is :3?? Unbelievable.

Osoro thinks you're too soft and innocent for your own good at first. She fears having you hang around her will mess you up. That is until she meets your (found) family. It's basically like all those fanfics where Y/N runs away from home, ends up at the slender mansion and becomes a member of the creepypasta cast, all while still attending school as normal. Your folks are objectively deranged people and even Osoro is wary of them

And then comes intimacy. Any doubts Osoro had about you not being influenced by your less-than-normal familial environment vanish instantly. You like gripping, biting, scratching and all things nasty. This doesn't intimidate Osoro in the slightest. Hell, basic vanilla intimacy scared her more given that she's more well-acquainted with violence than love

Like if theyre yabdere in public they don't get kisses or hugs. And if they're especially bad they leave the house for like an hour.

Heck maybe for the adult Aishis the punishments could even extend to the bedroom

Soooo i'm not sure how to differentiate between all of them because their reactions would boil down to "annoyed at first, begrudgingly plays along, ends up cooling it with the yandere tendencies"

Dozuki and Kugi would be a lot more irritated than the others. Especially Dozuki. She doesn't like being bossed around (hypocrite much?)

Ayano's Cousin would sooner or later turn it into a sadomasochistic thing and Kijiyose would play along at first, only to invent some kind of punishment for you in return

Ayano and Ryoba think it's pointless since they have no reason to unleash the worst version of themselves now that they have you by their side. Kataba finds it cute given her line of work that requires her to make use of her yandere instincts. Azebiki has plenty of self-control so, there's no point in punishing her lol

I'm not entirely sure about Hiki though? She had the potential to be a yandere like everyone else in the family, but there's no canon confirmation on what type of yandere she could be, if she'd commit murder etc. I think she'd appreciate you looking out for her, but would only go along with it for your sake. Again, i'm not 100% sure

Navia is quite the extravagant presence, so good luck ignoring her. She shows up in places she has no business being at, rocking her cool sunglasses and accompanied by her bodyguards. Good luck pretending you're not stealing glances at her like everyone else, babe.

Furina refuses to let herself be dismissed. She signs up for many different roles, each of them more dramatic than the last. She worms her way in newspaper headlines and talent shows. She plays it coy when interviewed about her personal life - all while blinking rapidly at the camera like she's saying "PLS UNBLOCK ME" in morse code.

Lynette tries to play it nonchalant while she's anything but. She will force her presence in every aspect of your daily life. She conveniently does impromptu magic shows near places you frequent, just so she can keep an eye on you at the very least. Is this your card? *discreetly swipes your credit card and holds it out of your reach*

Clorinde is a gentleman first and foremost. She won you over with her blade, and she will regain your love the same way. ... nah, she just shows up with a bouquet of roses at your doorstep. Her arrival is conveniently timed with the first rainstorm of the season, so you better give her extra pity points for that.

Chiori makes an effort to promote her brand even further. Furina de Fontaine wears Chioriya! Your favourite brand collaborated with Chioriya Boutique! It's like you can't escape this lady's influence. And if you don't succumb to FOMO? Better hope there's a loose seam on your dress that needs fixing.

Escoffier is too prideful to face you in person. Instead, she appears in as many cooking competitions as she can and shoves her sweets in every display in town. She watches from afar as you salivate before a line-up of desserts. You want that cookie so fucking bad. So you better come in and talk to her.

O o f being stuck between the two of them gets you flustered enough. But having both of them flirt back?? And initiate physical contact too??

Osoro catches you by surprise every single time. She's not the most touchy person on the planet and she struggles with intimacy. But whenever she drapes her (stolen) coat over your shoulders?? When some other punk passes by and she nuzzles in your neck to make it clear that she's your shield?? You overheat every single damn time

Megami is a lot more subtle. She's also not very touchy, but with you it feels right. She'll occasionally snake an arm around your waist and press a kiss to your temple when nobody's looking. She never elaborates. She's not sure how to. She just leaves you blushing and smiling like an idiot.

God help you if you try hitting on both of them at the same time. They telepathetically agree to a truce, just so they can fluster you as much as they can. Osoro is holding you up from behind and nuzzling in your hair while Megami has her hands on your hips and her lips on your neck.

Reader is the most empathetic girl on the planet and cranks out the therapy talk the moment she first lays eyes upon her murderous future wife lol

Ayano crumbles the moment the words leave your lips. You're proud of how far she has come? And she's good enough for you? For your love? She bawls her eyes out in your arms, and it feels refreshingly real. Like a whole new world has opened up before her. She finally gets it. You made her feel.

Ayano's Cousin is lost. Where's all this coming from?? Is this some kind of prelude to dirty talk? But your kind expression says it all. It's like you're granting her forgiveness, a virtue she never cared about receiving. She distances herself from you, but not out of malice. She just needs a moment to collect her thoughts.

Ryoba is about as excited as she was when you accepted her love confession. Oh my, you truly do love her! She's not shy about it either. She begs you to say that over and over again; loving reassurances and domestic pet names all day long. That makes you even more perfect in her eyes.

Dozuki thinks you're being sarcastic at first. Oh, you mean it? What makes you think she needs to hear all that therapy talk?! She scoffs and turns her back to you, unwilling to admit how touching your words were. She grew up emotionally neglected and here you are, a bundle of sunshine all for her.

Kataba squeals like a high school girl all over again. Eeek! You love her? All of her?? No need for murders or kidnapping attempts or love rituals anymore! You're perfect as you are! She becomes ten times as clingy and she no longer feels the need to worry about anyone else coming between the two of you.

Azebiki is unsure on how to receive such kind words. Hell, she doesn't even know how to reciprocate them. But your gentle voice is like a soothing balm to her overstimulated mind. She wants to hear more of it. It's exhilarating. Like her life's work is finally paying off.

Kugi is suspicious at first. Is this like the final scene in a tragic play where the two lovers exchange loving words before one of them slices the other's throat? No, you really do mean it. She doesn't reciprocate because she doesn't know how to. But she can't deny that your words made her heart flutter.

Hiki smiles as tears gather in her eyes. You get it. You're the only one who does. And you're forgiving her for it all. Now she knows for a fact that she wants to spend the rest of her life with you. No one else could possibly love all of her like you do. She's completely yours now.

Someone similar to them, someone they find security and safety and comfort in, someone they would never let go of. Basically what others would call a “best friend,” but it is far more than that.

They deserved friends, it would have helped them a lot; to, at least, not be alone.

I know right?? They're never seen hanging out with other people and the narrators don't realize what loving them truly means. You have to befriend someone first before you actually get closer to them

Cecilia is relieved, but she won't show it. Having someone that understands her and can counter all of her deep one-liners does wonders. She becomes really clingy and follows you around everywhere. If you're anything like her, the two of you possibly end up making a suicide pact. Jury's out on whether you follow through with it or not.

Lux is over the moon. It's as though life has meaning again! This girl would benefit greatly from having a meaningful relationship that doesn't revolve around sex. She'd become a lot more motivated and optimistic, especially around you. She literally becomes a walking ray of sunshine.

Bonnie prays to whatever divine deity sent you her way. She doesn't feel nearly as lonely as she did before. She appreciates you relating to her shyness and adjusting accordingly. If she feels safe enough with you, she even introduces you to her family in an attempt to bring her two nests together.

Mary becomes her best possible self. Or at least she tries to be. She's so happy that you're friends with her and she reasons that you deserve the best version of her. You might need to explain to her that you'll always be there for her, even when she has hit rock bottom.

Therese is excited, but tries to keep it together. Finally! Someone she can infodump on! You're intrigued by the way her mind works and it takes her a while to get over the initial shock of having someone genuinely interested in her. Definitely tries to talk you into going to the same college as her so the two of you can share a dorm.
