This piece refers to pastel colors, or “baby colors”. The children of what we would call “gem colors”, or the usually bright reds, blues, and greens. Those colors are usually named after their parent, for example “Light Yellow” or “Baby Blue”. However the color between white and red is rarely, if ever, called “Light Red” or “Pastel Red”. This work is about Red’s child having the individual name “Pink”.

This year I got to travel to many places and meet many lovely people! It was busy, but very fun! I hope that 2015 will be a great!
