Does anyone remember when I said I'd upload the timelapse for the Reala Day picture I drew this year? I found some free time to render this absolute BEAST of a file and finally clear some space on my hard drive!
I already had the rough idea of what I wanted to make so the process itself was actually fairly fast, about 5 or 6 hours from the sketch to the finishing touches of simulating real life watercolor effects like the small particles that are meant to resemble the sort of speckle you get when you sprinkle salt on your artwork, pulling away the paint to reveal the paper underneath.
Overall I think the effort was worth it, when I compare it to traditional paintings I've done it's almost undetectable, like the sneaky little fellow, hiding among the flowers...
