Stalo sa tak na Hornej Bieberovej štôlni, dnes štôlňa „Božie požehnanie“ v Štiavnických Baniach. 🧨Strelné práce sa stali prelomovou technológiou pre baníctvo. ⚒Hornina sa do 17. storočia rozpojovala ručne želiezkom a kladivom, výnimočne pomocou ohňa. Bola to pomalá a fyzicky náročná práca. Trhacie práce výrazne zvýšili produktivitu práce, ale boli aj nebezpečné, spočiatku dochádzalo pri nich k ťažkým úrazom. 📜 Komisia Banského súdu, zložená z troch banských úradníkov, opísala pre Hlavného komorského grófa priebeh pokusu s odstrelom s čiernym strelným prachom.
