My Lucid Dreaming Method ♤
Just to preface, I didn't make this method, it is a mix of a few method I've done over the years. And for anyone who doesn't know: lucid dreaming is the state of being aware you are dreaming. This can cause an individual to take control of the dream and do what they please.
Okay so, I have been lucid dreaming for about 8 years now purposefully and have been having lucid dreams for even longer. When I first joined the community there was a lot of misinformation when it came to lucid dreaming and that it was dangerous or that there is things you should avoid. I'm hear to tell you that this isn't true. Lucid dreaming is safe and you can't do anything dangerous(it's literally just a dream dawg). And I find that this sort of messaging scares people away from it when its a fun activity that can be used in all sorts of ways, so here's my personal favourite method for very lucid dreams.
Okay, method time:
Btw you don't HAVE to do a method, you can just affirm that you're in a lucid dream too using Law of Assumption. But I just like doing this method personally.
So, what you are going to do is set an alarm about 4-6 hours after you plan to go to bed. This is when your mind is in the REM stage(most common time to have dreams). When you wake up from your alarm, you're going to lay down and picture or visualize a dream you had before(or if you have trouble remembering dreams in detail, make your own scenario). This helps your brain already recognize that this situation is not real and is fact a dream(greater chance at awareness). Then affirm that you are in a lucid dream or going to lucid dream, honestly at this point you can go back to sleep, just make sure to keep your mind awake as long as possible while your body drifts off. From here, two things can happen: 1. You go into the hypnogogic state, where you see colour's and shapes moving while your eyes are closed, this is the dream forming. Or 2. You fall asleep and wake up in a dream, kind of like you instantly pop into the dream with awareness. Now that you are in the dream, you should acknowledge that you are in a dream to help stabilize it. Look at your hands, they should look off. You can even stick your finger through the palm of your other hand if you like. Just confirm that this is a dream. From there, do what you like. Fly, manifest, idc have fun with it.
Tips:
While in the dream, continue to check that it is a dream, sometimes we get caught up in the events that we lose lucidity and end up in a regular dream.
I find it easiest to summon things or teleport by saying what I want or where to go and then imagine its behind me, then turn around. You create things in your dream. So it will be there.
Remember you control the dream. There's post about scary things to avoid like looking in mirrors or some bs. Don't fall for that because you'll just psych yourself out and scare yourself. Remember you literally can make anything happen. I mean anything, like going into the void state, fly, ect.
