Well, the canon ending for the Poppy AU is Rolli escaping. Yet, what if Rita escaped instead? Rolli dissapears first & she's left alone in the computer world, running around & eventually in real life Berlin.

So what if the two met?

.

Rita is in denial. She cannot accept he is real. Alive. Healthy. Not covered in the gore that her hallucinations usually showed.

Rolli is completely drunk. A coping mechanism Esther failed to stop. His mind is too foggy to understand why he's crying & upset. He doesn't think she's real & clings onto her because he doesn't wanna loose her.

Whenever Rolli saw her, she looked like that computer generaled model. Unrealistic & completely fake when in the real world. She looked like she was back in 1997. Yet when he saw her real, all sorts of feelings flowed in his brain. Sadness. Anger. Regret. Love. Fear. So much more. She was dead, & nothing could change that. But he never saw her dead before. Was she genuinely here, yet a angel? Or was his mind lying again.

When he woke up from the dream, he was severly distressed.
