#bts #jimin #kpop #arirang world tour #fanart #myart #doodle #yes i'm armyposting bc being able to see them live meant the world to me #and i'm so grateful to my friends who thought of me throughout ticketing and travel and etc and helped make it possible #this isn't in my usual art style so i'm slightly insecure about it but i wanted to immortalize a moment of that night #no joke when we saw jimin for the first time that evening i thought that an angel had descended to the plane of mortals #however let it be known i am very much ot7 #i didn't take many photos/videos bc i was immersed in the experience but i'm glad i caught this interaction #after we got back that night i found a piece of confetti from the concert that had fallen onto me #and idk call that a stroke of serendipity bc i now have a small tangible memento as well

#shoutout to my friends who not only helped me with tickets but also made the travel part less stressful #10+ years of being an army and i finally got to see them live #i'm in this bangtan thing for life

#i started playing a week ago and it's been fun!!#you know me... i just had to have kvthm as my island's residents #a lot of the things their miis say are in character which makes me so happy #i heard crushes exist in the demo so i've been checking on them regularly and it finally happened the other day!#the game is in perfect alignment w/ my hc that haitham fell first after they became friends hahaha #he jumped from ultra friends to ready to risk it all which i find Hilarious #and yes i added l.an yan as my third and last available resident bc she is perfect and i love her so much #her mii interactions w/ them got me thinking up hcs for how they'd all meet and get along #this will probably be my only post about the game bc the demo is very limited and i don't plan on getting the full game #but i thought these were cute and wanted to share ^^#note

#dion lesage #bahamut #ffxvi #final fantasy #fanart #myart #doodle #rahhh finally finished this piece!!#on a technical level i feel like this is a better attempt at what i was going for in my lny piece #still have room for improvement especially on the background but for the most part it turned out ok!#also i'm really proud of how i rendered the rocks but bc of the layout they're mostly covered by dion's body ;;;#recently we passed the 2nd timeskip in game and i'm so emotional about what happened to [redacted] and [redacted] in that last cutscene #on our most recent session we did the main quest in rosaria (found ambrosia!) and explored/did quests in the hideaway #the apple delivery one had me in shambles...#trying not to mention characters by name bc this will show in their tags but yeah... i'm so attached to all of them #when we save and you can see the pixelated party members we're always like 'they're so cute' and 'that's our party!'#haven't seen dion post-timeskip yet but am looking forward to it #my friends and i have been scrounging together time when our schedules align to hop in call haha and it's been fun to progress!

what looping "the battle of belenus tor" and "ascension" does to a person

#we are playing through ffxvi faster than i can draw it lol #but yes i loved the bahamut vs odin cutscene so much #i must admit i am not immune to the prince character archetype!! dion lesage you are so cool to me!!#dion seems like the honorable type who is loved by his people and bahamut looks like a fighter jet which is cool as heck #not to mention the sheer reverence in the voice of his second-in-command sending him off to battle #which i went on a tangent about to my friends hahaha #also not sure what elements they represent but since ramuh is lightning that rules it out for odin so maybe he's darkness?#and bahamut is probably light in that case bc dion also looks the part #which is so interesting to me bc i feel like he mirrors clive who's more of the dark hero archetype #anyway on our most recent playthrough clive accepted the truth and ifrit's power and that was The coolest narrative battle sequence ever #the literal trial by fire and ifrit teaching by example how to harness the power without letting it consume him #we were all cheering for him as he was fighting #(and now i can't stop looping 'find the flame')#at this rate i'm either going to end up with a million wips or finish pieces way after we play through the pivotal moments #myart
