A/N: This is the second part of my mini-series. Based off of this prompt “For your mini-series can you do a fic with Amelia’s different cravings and Link getting them for her specifically, pepperoni, and donuts”. Enjoy!
Since entering her second trimester, Amelia seemed to want to eat everything in sight. She figured it was probably her body making up for the fact she could barely keep anything down during the first few weeks of the pregnancy. It didn’t help that Link had become overprotective and wherever she was, he was there with a snack or there he was fulfilling whatever her cravings were.
They always came at the most inconvenient times; in the middle of the night, in the middle of surgery and when she didn’t get what she wanted, there went the water works.
“You guys want pizza?” Meredith asked the couple who were sat at the dining room table with Maggie, holding up frozen pizzas “I’m putting some in the oven for the kids”
Link breaks his gaze away from his girlfriend “That would be great, thanks!” he smiles and wraps his arm round Amelia’s shoulders once again.
“Do you have a pepperoni one?” Amelia asked, looking at Meredith with hopeful eyes “No, no one here likes pepperoni pizza? Amelia, you don’t even like pepperoni” Meredith laughed and raised her eyebrows at the brunettes request. Amelia’s face dropped “Yeah well, he” she points to Link “does and he impregnated me with his baby and by extension, the want for pepperoni”.
Link smirks and reaches his free hand over to her stomach, rubbing gently along the slight curve forming “That’s my kid!” his manner receiving a sharp look from an unimpressed Amelia “This is not funny!”.
