remeber when ranboo used to play mellohi or show the lore smile as a joke to rile up his audience and everyone would freak out and talk about how fucked up he was and then tommyinnit would log on the next day and straight up say this and then log off

manberg/pogtopia/exile eras will always be unmatched. but. there is something about the time right after the prison/tommy's death where it really felt like the dsmp had peaked. like so many stories were being setup at that moment, and how they were bound to collide with each other. the connection between tftsmp, the egg, c!drm, c!ranboo, the revive book, las nevadas, etc.... the mystery of it all was so exciting... shame they never pulled though with these.

i love calling the presidents of lmanberg “administrations.” the schlatt administration. the tubbo administration. i’m eating concrete they’ve got campaigns and propaganda and political cartoons. they pass laws and kiss babies at parades and check out their citizens and whatever. “what the schlatt administration has left us is a broken nation” or whatever. they’ve got rallies and speeches. tubbo passes universal healthcare and it’s called tubcare

Of course its cJack whos still here, because of course it is. It was always going to be him still here,,, the last one still logging on.

Because Jack held on to things, his anger, resentment, and vengeance. Its what kept him alive for so long on this server, its what he had to hold on to survive. The anger fueled him and got him out of bed everyday, its what helped him come back to life even. And Jack got good at surviving, but that resulted in him not being able to let go of it all. And so hes still here. Even when Tommy has a new home, and pet, and best friend who visits him, Jack has what ? He doesnt even have his anger anymore. What kept him so warm all those nights plotting in Snowchestor has now let him cold and alone. He cant move on now. This empty husk of a server is the only place he knows how to survive in.

no because "i like who i am now!" being so bright and cheery . i cant watch the stream. i have to go do my paper. its due at midnight. its past 10 pm. but like. "i like who i am now!" and its so like. warm. hes so genuine about it. c!jack manifold, who hated who he was at the end, who turned into a beast fueled by vengeance and hatred and anger, who gets to just. exist. who gets to like who he is. all he ever wanted was to be happy . all he ever wanted was for people to recognize he was a person and respect him as a person. he climbed out of hell and decided to be worse and turn into a version of himself that he hated and now he's standing here and he says he likes himself and. waugh. WAUGH. i'm crying. does anyone understand. like yeah chommy soft epilogue. thats great. but the super important other thing here is cjack soft epilogue. yes hes still a gambler yes he still has problems but he likes who he is now???? im breaking down sobbing.

everyone.. left. it was no dramatic finale. nothing went out with a bang. one day the server was, and the next, it wasn't.
