MLSHR Anniversary Appreciation Week 

Day Four: Favorite Happy Moment 

For me, episode four, all the little interactions budding between Hae Soo and Wang So culminated into this one moment, the beginning of a friendship. Wang So sharing that he finally gets to be in the place he’s been longing to be in, their banter, Hae Soo sharing thats she’s scared of her feelings and not him, showing care for one another (So by rebuilding the towers he destroyed, Soo by telling him to take care of himself). 

Now, this is something I have been working on for quite sometime, the idea popping into my head with no warning. I mean, A SNOWGLOBE! How had I not thought of it before?! And making it was such a challenge, trying to make the image in my head real and palpable. I even bled for this (do NOT underestimate the sharpness of an X-Acto knife, people). I had never made such small figurines and I had never made a person sitting down. The glitter clumped weird or made the water cloudy, the glue I originally chose just did not stick at all. Seeing it all come together, what step at a time… there was a lot of squealing involved. This was a true labor of love and I just really want to share it with all of you.

So as you may know, the 29th August is the 1 year anniversary of Moon Lovers and myself, @letsflytoasiarenata​ and the rest of what I like to call #TeamNotOverMoonLovers, decided it would be fun to do an appreciation week, because why not?

She smiled again, raising herself on her tiptoes, bringing her face as close to his as she could with her short height. “It’s because you’re a kindred spirit.” He wasn’t sure what she meant, but it sounded nice. “And life’s too short to let others bully you into submission. Don’t let these people get to you, Wang So. They are fleeting.” She took her fluffy pink pen out of her hair and grabbed his arm. She pushed up his sleeve and began writing a bunch of numbers. “That’s my number. Call or text me anytime. I’ll be your friend if you need one. Or, I guess your girlfriend, so don’t go kissing anyone else without my permission.“ She laughed at her joke, already walking down the stairs away from him.

He stared at the numbers on his arm. “Hae Soo.” Saying her name was like breathing air, swirling over his tongue and ambling through his teeth. He liked it very much.
