reading a book about gay people and there's a chapter about james vi/i and it basically said "he was respected for not having illegitimate children. however the fact that he was a raging homosexual was a bit of an issue"

i keep telling people that "james vi/i wrote the king james bible to appease the church because he was being too publicly gay" turns out that's not even true lmaoo imma still do it
