It’s a strange thing to have your heart broken by someone you weren’t even dating. I valued this persons friendship and I used to even say “well he’s never lied to me before” just to find out that he’s actually lied to my face for over a year. It’s like losing a friend and losing part of yourself when you realize something you had for so long wasn’t even real. There are days when I feel great and I don’t think about what happened but there are days like today when I can hear his words ringing in my ears and I remember everything. Blocking it out isn’t going to help me psychologically heal from the damage he did but I don’t have any option if I want to save my actual loving relationship. I think a part of me loved this kid and he was just playing some sick game for the hell of it. Now I’m all fucked up and he hasn’t thought about any of it, not even once.
