This was genuinely what it was like growing up in New Agey circles btw, my mum's friends would come round like "So I went out to the woods this weekend and fasted and meditated and I had a vision of the Sacred Stag and all my guardian angels and I asked them how to find love and they said that I need to focus on my own healing first and stop repeating cycles of the past" and then the very next week it'd be like "So I'm back with James again" girl..... the Sacred Stag could not have been more clear....

sorry but it's wild to me that there are people talking about lindsey graham's legacy as "homophobic" and not mentioning the fact that he was an imperialist war hawk who constantly pushed for war against middle eastern countries and championed the genocide of gazans. like, i'm a gay person from the US and I think the homophobia is important to mention but that was not the primary focus of his political career. if you want to talk about the harm lindsey graham caused to the world you have to talk about his foreign policy. you have to talk about the middle east. you have to talk about palestine.

I can excuse a lot of inaccuracies in other people's writing. But if there is something not completely historically correct in the fic that I don't even plan to post, backed up with scholarly research, I cannot continue to write.
