How could I have ever loved, someone as awful as you. Why did I shrug, all the pain you put me through. Man, that wasn't worth it, If only I knew.

You were my greatest addiction. No matter how many rehabs I went to, I'd come back, still never learning my lesson. I knew that your love meant abusing me till I'm blue, But somehow, I can endure everything, everything because it's you. And I wish I was bluffing, I'd wish all my desires would come true, and I'd wake up not recognizing you. I want to beat this addiction, I want to be able to look in your eyes, And say I don't want this life.

We were never meant to work,  because it was like forcing words to rhyme,  Claiming innocent when proven you've done a heinous crime,  looking at a tragedy and thinking it could stand the test of time.  We were never meant to work,  Because forever is hard to reach, and we're too tired to climb.

I hope to meet a man, who'd be my life's biggest fan, and we'd share each other's dreams and plans, maybe even how it all began. And he'd listen to me, maybe give some advice, two or three, we'd laugh until we fall asleep, and in my dreams, he'll softly creep.

It ended in the worst way possible, It ended with me immortalizing a memory through a little fable, wherein a wolf was dressed in a suit and tie, and charmed the little kitten in a blink of an eye, the kitten thought she could fix him if she tries, if she gives it her all then maybe he'd comply, but you can never change a person if they dont want to, Its something you do only for you.

The hardest part wasn't saying goodbye, It was staring right into your person's eye, with skin stained with tears from all the midnight cries, and finally saying, "Though I think I might die, I'll be better without you by my side".

Your friend group keeps growing, Because you think you'd find warmth in the number of people chasing you, But you can never fill the void inside, With people who would probably never care if you ever died.

I don't want to know somebody new, Don't want to start from scratch, Don't want to know that their favorite color is blue. I don't want to start all over, Plan a new future with somebody, and pretend we didn't name our supposed son and daughter.

The only forever we'll get is forever laying under the same sky, wondering why we even met when we're bound to say goodbye.

How'd I wish things ended differently, Like you'll grow old with me, and we'll live happily, but dreams aren't supposed to turn into reality, they only serve as a reminder of what could be.

I do believe in second chances, that's why I gave you three, there's an extra one because you were special to me.

You came back, acting as nothing happened between us, nothing to discuss. You never had it in you, to face the problems you and I went through, instead, you want to shrug it off in my vulnerability, you scoff.

You liked sweet things, like the ice cream truck that summer brings, but don't sugarcoat the things you say, Let me fall, Love me raw, or not at all.

Sing me a lullaby,  So when its time to leave, I wont cry.  Walk away with a beautiful melancholy,  So it'll hurt a little less when you say goodbye.

I hope we'll be laughing at 70, holding each other like we're teens in 90's romance movies And we'll stare at the sunset, completely free from all regret.

We drowned in pain, and called it love we swam in an ocean full of knives, and called it affection. we kissed the sun, and called it intimacy. we scraped our being, and called it common decency.
