It’s a brilliant fucking scene and I’ll never forgive the writers for the bullshit cheesy rom-com disaster that immediately followed. Spencer just realized that another woman that he based his worth and purpose on was leaving him, and he had to find a way to cope with that and it absolutely should not have been “mock her and shove tongue down another girl’s throat.” Fuck off, writers.
