Do you have any advice when it comes to opening lines of communication with your milso when so far away from them? My SO isn't open with his feelings and emotions towards me and we only see each other 1x/2x a year. We're trying to work on fixing our relationship but both of us are at a loss in how to approach it. Very little progress has been made. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

So my SO swore into the Coast Guard and is leaving to recruit training in a month, but I don't know how to feel. I love him, and I know he loves me but we haven't made a commitment to a relationship because he feels it's not right for him to let me wait for him. We've been pretty close for about two years, and knowing myself I will definitely wait for him. But my family just keeps posing the question- it's even worth it, or if he will just find someone else when away. What is your opinion?

I miss him and I haven't been gone more than 36 hours. And I get to see him next week. I know I'm spoiled and lucky and all that to have him so close but I can't help it. I'm so new to all this and I'm trying so hard to be strong because he's so worth it - we've been together about a month and I already know I want my parents to meet him - but it's hard. I don't want to send an "I miss you" text because I don't want to sound clingy but I want him to know I miss him too. The struggle :(

My bf sent a pic on snapchat of him at work making a goofy face for me to wake up to (he knows I think it's adorable and it makes my day better he spoils me lol) and he was in his beret.
