When Kara Bear is outside of a 30- 40-foot radius from him, he becomes easily irritable, dejected, and grumpy. He's a cutie patootie when she's close.

After every mission, he looks all grumpy while she's drying from a routine wash.

Secretly, Dear Santa likes it when Kara Bear isn't around cause Vern lets him get away with attitude and carries him around instead.
