“Millie Johnson! I’ve seen your reports during Extra! Does Marcus ever go shirtless? Can you tell me anything about Brooke?” at 21 years old, this new journalist and current employee of E! magazine and Extra! news is making a name for herself on the road with Collection. This brunette nerd reminds people of Nina Dobrev, and is currently taken. 

It’s quite simple, Millie Johnson was a curious little girl. The curiosity got the better of her all the time, from going exploring in the woods to finding things she didn’t want to know, like the fact her parents were getting divorced, and that her boyfriend was cheating on her. Knowing things that Millie didn’t want to know at all, that was normal. She just had a knack for getting the dirt on anyone and everyone, she knew exactly what she had to do to keep her things straight, and out of the way of others knowing. Of course, Millie wasn’t average at all, she was actually your definition of “Nerd”. She loved to watch British television and loved to read books the size of a normal person’s head, she read Les Miserables in the eighth grade, and finished every play Shakespeare ever wrote by her graduation. She was labeled the one thing everyone would have labeled her: a nerd. And, not just a nerd, she was the mega-nerd with the glasses, and the nature of someone who is just clueless as to how life works. But, she’s not at all. She knows how life goes, she lives between two parents and knows a boy she likes is sleeping with one of her good friends, but dates him anyways. In some ways, if you knew everything Millie put up with, you’d respect her more than anything else. 

But, Millie always had this thing for history, and this thing for liking the idea of being in the media. She could see herself, years from now, on television while she’s big and successful and her tormentors and the girls who think they’re so hot are at home with their babies and husbands that don’t want them. When she landed the job at Entertainment Tonight, she was so excited it hurt her. She had cut and gotten a  Brazillian blowout on the hair she’d loved more than anything, added makeup, bought brown contacts to cover her oddly blue eyes, and dropped twenty pounds for that job. She dropped a lot of things she used to love to be aired on television. It may have been the driving force in her bulimia, but she wouldn’t admit that. Or the fact that she’s suffering from bulimia, ever. The nerdy girl might still act like she used to, but the business has changed her more than you’d expect. She’s become a snoop, but not the biggest one: that’s the job of Jane Promise.

“The tabloids got a hold of Millie Johnson’s dirty little secret, didn’t it? Too bad no one believes the Enquirer.” 

Millie Johnson is hiding her bulimia from the entire world. Although it’s hard to find her when she purges, after a huge meal. She knows that a certain Daniel Grey has noticed, but he seems to genuinely want to help her, not rat her out. Still, she’s slightly hostile towards him at times, but when she’s at her most vulnerable  he tries in any way her can to help. 

“On page twelve, they tell all about how well they get along with Millie Johnson!”

Brooklyn Kennedy: “Millie is honestly one of the best reporters I’ve ever met! She gets the information, and reports it how it happened, and doesn’t scare me like most reporters do. But, she’s still one of the nicest people on the bus. I watch Doctor Who with her on occasion, because sometimes I need a little David Tennant in my life. But, other than that, I don’t really talk to her too much. I wish I did, though.”

Crystal Maurice: “Oh, my, Millie. I don’t have much to say about Millie. She’s kind of quiet when she’s not interviewing us or looking for the scoop. I watch her segment on Extra! News every week, because, well, I want to know if I’m ever going to be in it. I doubt I ever will be, though, because I’m kind of the light technician, not in the spotlight.”
