The white rose is the county flower of Yorkshire. Commonly being associated with the large county and became resonated during the war of the roses in the late 1400s

Using embroidery techniques to create texture and add and array of textiles to my work. I wanted to try out how different dimensions would look on denim and to trial and error for my final garment.

For this sample I chose to do the same patchwork technique but I worked into it by using both machine and hand embroidery to create a shaft wheel mimicked onto the pieces. I used both embroidery styles to add textile techniques into my designs.
