Long personal rant coming!!
This one is about my country, Iran, but I won't use that damn flag emoji because it belongs not to Iran but to the Islamic republic we don't accept, THIS is our true flag:

If you're a fellow Iranian... درود هموطن....
Tbh, I wish I could write something light or creative for this blog like I usually do.
I even have ideas.
But I really don’t feel like it these days.
People in my country are out in the streets, protesting against a damned system, risking their lives and their bonds with the people they love. And what does this system offer in return?
Seven. Dollars. A. Month.💀
As if dignity, freedom, and safety have a price tag that low.
Meanwhile, I’m here in a dorm, far away.
No shelter, no black clothes, no way to physically join them.
All I can do is wish, not pray, I’m irreligious, for their safety.
For the system to fail at calming people down with crumbs of the welfare they actually deserve.
I haven’t been able to study a single sentence these days.
I just scroll through Twitter endlessly, craving something, clarity, hope, anything.

It’s hard not to notice how monstrous it is to keep people poor on purpose, just to trap them at the bottom of Maslow’s hierarchy.
This rant is the bare minimum I can do.
To keep their minds busy with survival so they never get the chance to demand freedom, choice, and basic human rights.
So if you’re reading this, please wish, in whatever way you believe in, for us to take back what should’ve never been negotiable:
freedom of speech, freedom of choice, dignity, safety, and the welfare every human being deserves.
