That restaurant.
It’s been a year, my used-to-be favorite restaurant is offering me a promo again. Are they trying to see if I still love the dishes they serve?
I loved that restaurant in an unexplainable way, ignored every single restaurant just to always get there. Regardless of the tastelessness of the foods, even though the dishes made me sick, even if it’s unhealthy, oh how I still love coming back to that restaurant.
They prioritized new and other customers, even though I am their regular customer. They know that I will keep on waiting for my order no matter how long it takes, 20 minutes… 30 minutes… 1 hour, and so on, doesn’t matter though, because in the end I can still get a taste of my favorite, right?
Then one day, I woke up, realized that I need better serving, better offers and promos. Because why would I settle for a restaurant that was starting to give me left overs? Started trying out other restaurants, never knew that other restaurants offer much better serving and dishes, or I just thought so, I kept on checking out my favorite restaurant, is it doing well? Do they have new promos? Did they notice their regular customer is not coming back anymore? Are they going to do something about it?
There were many times that I would just stand at the front door of that restaurant… waiting for them to open the door. They still send me promos sometimes, maybe they are hoping their regular will come back. But that wasn’t enough to make me come back, they were offering the old promo, I need a new and better promo.
My used-to-be favorite restaurant is offering me a promo after a long time, even though I miss the taste of their dishes, I wouldn’t and couldn’t let myself go back, because if I did, I know it will be hard to leave that restaurant again.
