I’m salty about that Milah vs Emma question at OUATDEN.
First off because it’s in poor taste and was literally asked last weekend. And it’s a question that feels aimed at getting ammunition for Milah/Millian hate. Plus you know what he is gonna say I mean Colin knows his audience and that’s the story he has been telling for five years.
Like are people really that threatened by Milah or by her relationship with Hook? Why must people constantly be trying to make sure Captain Swan is the truest and the best and remake both of them into physical and emotional virgins before they found each other? Why can’t the love just be love, different because it’s with a different person but still valuable and vital to the person and their journey? I think it especially baffles me because Milah and Neal are essential elements to who Emma and Hook are now. And because the healing they have found in each other is a big reason I ship them.
And it’s frustrating how the show went out of it’s way to show Emma and Milah getting along and working as a team. Literally decided not to pit the two women against each other that we as a fandom turn around and do it anyway.
